Back In Time is not a brick and mortar business. They have a building in Matthews but ALL of their business is done online. I drove quite a ways to shop there only to find is that you can't go inside. There was another antique store down the block that I saw and so went inside there. The owner slammed the door in my face and told me I wasn't welcome all because I was speaking to her employee. According to her, no one can speak to the employees on her time. This is a shop in a small town, where most people are friendly (with the exception of the owner). Generally the employees of the shops are allowed to speak to customers. I do not recommend this store.

The owner is extremely rude. Mathews is such a lovely town and we don't need businesses on Main Street that dlam the doors in their customers face... all because while I stopped by I was speaking to an employee. I truly hate to see how she treats her employees if that's how she treats her customers.

The picnic packaging is perfect and ecologically friendly.The menu is gourmet quality, with weakly changes and features.The chef is amenable to dietary issues and accommodates diversity.

GREAT lunch-to-go today! My sister & I were looking for a light, fresh, tasty lunch and this really hit the spot. The tortellini salad & roll was fantastic - non-plastic utensils (THANK YOU) were appreciated.

If you’re looking for a place seriously into keeping the virus at bay this is a place for you ! Immediately entering we were checked for temperature masks and hand sanitizer! Immediate n thorough! We simply browsed the offerings and the staff was efficient and warm . There were several interesting items around that deserved a bit longer stay .. I say try it!

Cute shop for treasure hunting in downtown Mathews. Came away with a birdhouse, a book, a handmade soup tureen, and a caramel macchiato to rival Starbucks. Be sure to ask about the coffee though, the bar is not easily visible.
