So we ate at “Ho-Do”s” (that’s my nickname for it now) for the first time last week. I wanted to let the visit settle in before I wrote this review. We don’t eat out a lot and just moving back to Mathews county after being gone for 20 years there are more than a few really good restaurant choices. They stand out as a great choice in every way. We were visiting from Richmond for our anniversary weekend and stopped in by chance on our way home. What a pleasant surprise! Gracious, welcoming staff and made to order delicious breakfast -- what a fantastic combination. Thank you for taking good care of us! We'll be sure to visit again next time we're in the area.

Sausage gravy and biscuits was 10/10. My boyfriend got the French toast with sausage and I also had a side of bacon, so good! Had to grab a peanut butter pie on the way out too! Servers were so nice and attentive and were hustlers on the floor.
