The crab cake was good and so were the coleslaw and hushpuppies. The fried scallops were not crispy, it was a bit soggy. Service was ok although a bit forgetful, and we also had to ask for silverware.

Great seafood and sides from people who have lived and lived off this food their whole lives. My family came here for dinner. Our waitress was very nice and answered our many questions. Everything we got was good. We tried the scallops, flounder, lobster tail, snow crab legs, captains basket, fries, sweet potato fries, hushpuppies, and the French onion dip sandwich. We were only disappointed they ran out of scallops so we only got 3.

We vacationed in Mathews on a whim and the Seafood Shack only added to our impression that this area is truly a hidden gem in every way! The food was delicious and service was super friendly and prompt! From the crab cakes to the hush puppies to the broiled catch of the day, nothing disappointed our party of five!
