A wonderful menu for people who know how to appreciate home-cooked food. For lunch. I had the four-vegetable plate (turnip greens, string beans, black eyed peas and hush puppies) with hot rolls. My husband: crab-cake sandwich with fries. Hé ordered a tall brewed iced tea. Service was warm and professional. Would definitely go back!!
Quant little restaurant with a lot of history. Established in 1929 in tiny Rawlings Virginia. My husband said this is the restaurant his family would gather for family get togethers. I'm grateful it's still here for us to bring our daughter and get some quality time over good authentic country cooking. Hopefully we'll be back soon.
What a great restaurant. Plenty of variety on the menu from steaks to seafood to chicken. Tasty selection of desserts. Courtesy and friendly staff is a reflection of fantastic southern hospitality. Do yourself a favor and pull off I-85 to take in a meal at this wonderful establishment.
