Jane's Country Cafe

We stopped into Jane's by luck after a long motorcycle day. The food was great and very affordable. Our server was great, funny and helpful. I wish I was sitting there now. If i get within 200 miles of it again I will definitely divert to go there.

Very popular place for their locals. Stopped in the day after Thanksgiving 2024. Clean restaurant. Friendly helpful staff and quick service from the kitchen. BLT was fantastic. Soup was great. Became very crowded at 1pm. Lots of people waiting for a table. SANTA in the parking lot was a delight! I wish Santa had a collection or donation bag.

Parking: At times it will be difficult finding parking. Very popular place

Absolutely fantastic, write down the road from Nancy's candies. Everybody very friendly and the food was very good.
Our server Nicole kind and friendly. We will return next year.

The food was not good it was a mix of cold and hot in the same item. It was just not good and I got the daily special which you think would be good. You would be better off eating at the gas station next door. Also it took forever over thirty minutes and that does not count wait time just to be seated. They did not clean off the table before seating us then sprayed us with table cleaner when we sat down. Had to refill own drinks even thought we were not supposed to. Do not recommend.

Visited Jane's Country Cafe this past weekend after a long drive from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Friendly, fast service with a smile. We had an excellent meal and experienced authentic country food for the first time. Try the fried okra and collards. Wonderful experience!

Amazing little gem of a place. Fantastic BBQ, great burgers, and awesome sides. Very fulfilling portions. The wait for the food was a bit longer, because there was a bit of an early dinner rush, but well worth the wait, and they had everyone covered and drinks filled. Kudos to the cooks and to the wait staff. Definitely will return.

This place really is a hidden gem 💖 I was looking for a halfway point to meet a friend to make the drive easier on both of us, & this diner just so happens to be it. The inside is so cute & cozy, & our waitress Deborah was amazing. I had the baked ham with fried squash & stewed apples. It was the best diner food I've had in a long time, & the best stewed apples I've ever had. Really great sweet tea, too. I wish we had more time to sit & enjoy but we were pressed for time. I highly recommend this place. The whole area is so cute, with the Blueridge Parkway right there. We'll def be back 💖
