We stopped here on a whim as we saw the sign on Rt. 17. The lady and man were friendly and the chicken salad on fresh baked bread and tomato basil soup were excellent. We were hoping for something off the beaten path, memorable and delicious. It was all of that and more.

Not sure what we missed about this place. The sandwiches are outrageously expensive, and have almost nothing in them. Across the board, the prices are laughable for what you get. The soup was so salty it was hard to eat, and the salad tiny with only one or two tiny pieces of vegetable on a handful of greens. Over hyped and way over priced!

The kind of store that makes you want to live closer. I’d say it’s more specialty (higher prices) than a “regular” grocery store but the quality is high. For example, right next to the door they has a South African wine from an amazing vineyard I visited… but it’s not a wine I’ve seen carried elsewhere. I look forward to going back!
