Locke is a mixture of greatness, the wine selection is comparable to any I have seen in NYC, London and France. The freshly prepared food is consistent from visit to visit. I know it sounds strange to rave about consistency. I only address this because you have enjoyed something on the menu and want it again Locke deliverers. Imagine ordering for a family dinner and there is something different. If you will permit me to make a constructive suggestion I would like to pay for ordered food when I order it. This will make the checkout much easier. Example the pre Thanksgiving orders were taken over weeks, everyone (including myself) arrived at the same time. The cashier was a nice person but it was an unnecessary log jam. Also I am guessing there were some people that didn't show up for their order.

Found this little place on a road trip and they had some of the most unique items and great atmosphere. The fresh foccacia bread and tomatoe basil soup were the best I've ever had!

Quaint grocery store with excellent deli. Sandwiches were delicious and indoor and outdoor seating with your choice of views.

Great find just a few minutes off rt 17. The store has excellent sammies (the ciabbata bread was omg good!). And a top notch wine store with local cheeses and goodies. Take home soups and baked goods (frozen). Sit in the patio out back or take across the street to the nice park (next to the mill). A bit pricy but definitely a yummy Virginia flavor stop! Pic of the mill...nice summer day too :)

An amazing interlude. The deli is beyond belief! Everything is fresh, and delicious. There are sandwiches, salads and soups to choose from. They have international foodstuff, wine, and baked goods. I will return again and again! I know I won't be able to get enough!
