The food was delicious and well-prepared. Customer service is always above expectation. My order was ready 10 minutes before pickup time. Overall, I rate my experience a 9 out of 10.

Not the best but not the worst. Will I return? Not likely.

NO DINE IN AT THIS LOCATION!! They need to update their information on Google. Do you remember the height of the pandemic when businesses did pointless things like put up plexiglass barriers and plastic shower curtains to protect against an airborne virus? This place does, because they’re still doing it! ? I ordered General Tso’s Chicken, egg rolls and a drink. The price was $21. I was expecting to dine in, but they only offer to go orders for some reason. It took a while for my order to be ready. By the time I got home, the food was still hot, so that was good. The General Tso’s Chicken was pretty good but the egg rolls were bland and nothing special. I do not recommend this place.Parking: Busy parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: This location is wheelchair accessible

It was just okay. The food was poor quality and the egg rolls were not fresh. The ambience in the restaurant was also very odd. boxes everywhere, boarded up, no dining, and a plastic barrier. There is not a warm inviting feeling.

So, this is first time we have it. Ordered General Tso's, Mongolian Beef, Beef LoMein, and Singapore Combo Noodles for a Total of $61.99. Family liked the General Tso's and the Beef LoMein. The Singapore Style Noodle combo was enjoyed by my wife, but I was unimpressed. Also, it comes with shrimp, chicken, and pork, but I am allergic to shrimp, so we asked for beef instead and they did not add any beef, so it was just chicken and pork. (Stike one.) Now let's get to the Mongolian Beef (Strike 2 and 3). To say I was unimpressed was an understatement. It was about 10% beef and 90% onions. I called and talked to them about how the beef was nonexistent and they said that is normal. I asked for a refund on that meal only and they said, that is how it is supposed to be and did not offer a refund even with a picture of the problem. Oh well, plenty of other places to get overpriced Chinese food. First and last visit all in one!

Great Chinese food. The restaurant is not really designed for sit down dining. The young lady who works there always remembers me which is nice.

DO NOT buy from New Hunan in Montclair on Waterway. On Wednesday night I placed an order and ALL of my FOOD was reheated, refried, just YUCK! NEVER AGAIN. Don’t do it. I’m NOT gonna go back and forth with this establishment about my money, cuz y’all know it’s not gonna happen. I wish I could put a sign in front the place. BEWARE.

New Hunan was our go-to restaurant for Chinese food. We now live in Williamsburg and have not found any restaurant that is anywhere near the quality and service. We miss it very much!!

Loved this place! cute and welcoming setup/decorations inside. called in to order, the woman super friendly, our order was ready in about 30 minutes. I got the General Tso tofu extra spicy and my boyfriend got the Shrimp Lo Mein. my tofu was on the crispier side but that’s not much of a problem for me. pricing is adequate and portions are generous, lots of leftovers! I read lots of reviews before choosing this place out of the chinese takeout options. i’m glad i found this place and will definitely be coming back in the future.Vegetarian options: I’m a very picky vegetarian and prefer my tofu prepared in a specific way. for the most part restaurants tend to fry their tofu but there have been times where the tofu was breaded before being fried. if you’re an avid tofu lover i would most certainly recommend this place. there is also a wide selection of vegetarian options on the menu.
