We stopped here on our way to West Virginia. It was the perfect little cafe! Enjoyed our sandwiches and coffee. It was very cozy and comfortable inside, and the food was great (plus the prices were decent). Definitely recommend!

stopped in for a dessert item, and the large slices of chocolate cake were calling to me. It was the best I have Ever had! Also had the most delicious curry chicken salad sandwich! Will def stop next time I'm in the area.

We were in Monterey for the 2024 Maple Festival and came across Claire's Cakes and Cafe. It was a frigid day, so the gourmet pastries, sandwiches, and coffee were a real treat. We were impressed by the food, the speed of service, and the quality coffee. Impressive barrista and impressive ambiance. We had to drag ourselves out into the cold and onwards with our Maple Festival exploration. It was that good!

Finally a cute café when coming to the maple festival!! They even had Maple coffee and pastries for the occasion. The maple cheese danishes are very delicious!! The maple coffee is sweet - glad I mixed the cup with half regular. So good!!I love that whole young family was involved in the business. ???

Amazing service!!! The turtle cheesecake is definitely worth coming back to Monterey for!!! Cute log cabin is the building it's definitely has that cabin atmosphere.

Coffees were SO delicious! The owners were also very kind; they let us stay a little after closing and talked to us about the area and some gems around town. Great experience, we will be back!
