Always enjoy our meals at this family friendly, cozy restaurant especially the stuffed rockfish. We highly recommend!

We stopped in today to grab a small bite to eat. I ordered an order of onion rings and do did my sister. Received the bill and was charged an appetizer piece of $12 for each order of onion rings. Spoke the manager and per the manager the waiter entered the orders as appetizers so she said we needed to pay for them. I could see even if appetizers proportions, but these were just side orders. Manager very rude when asked about the cost and stated maybe we should have gone to McDonald's. Not very professional. She said they were struggling and I can see with this attitude towards customers. Last time we will be eating there. Reply to your response: We ordered 2 orders of onion rings and not 2 appetizers. Order evidently was heard or placed incorrectly. Also, there was far from15-20. If only I had taken a picture. They were also paid for thank you. Your wife (the manager) should have attempted to rectify the situation instead of telling a customer they should have gone to McDonald's. Very unprofessional!

Ok, so I found an excellent little gem of a restaurant! This is a Winner Folks! Excellent fresh food, super clean and well decorated. The service is TOP NOTCH! Go Now and Enjoy!!

This was a lovely stop on our way to visit friends. Down-home cooking, friendly people. The two waiters were great. We felt like we had our own dedicated server. We sat outside on the porch on a beautiful day with no bugs or bother. We'd highly recommend this place.

Great food and service.

Wife and I were out for a scoot and stopped in for a late lunch. Hanna was our server and was just as pleasant as she could be! the food was really good and the pricing was on point for the quality. I absolutely recommend you stop in, then run over to the antique store next to it, it's really cool!

Parking: Asphalt surface ~20 marked spaces

Wheelchair accessibility: 4 marked spaces near wooden ramp to entrance. Door entry requires assistance and will not accommodate large chairs.Men's restroom is easier to get in than women's. Paper towel dispenser is quite high and will need to reach over trashcan.

Enjoyed our dinner last night and meeting the new Owners. Great place and looking forward enjoying a meal again soon. 😀

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Kilmarnock. The service itself would’ve earned five stars. The food was beyond — we had both fried chicken and oysters and the breading was light and crispy. We also enjoyed the french dip sandwich with fries. Recommend 150%!

Excellent fried oysters, onion rings fish (rockfish) & chips! Worth the ride to Montross from Fredericksburg. Very clean, great staff!
