The Pink Cadillac Diner

We went here today for lunch. We waited 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order. Then we waited 40 minutes at least for our food and only got it after I enquired about it…. Three other sets of diners came in after us and got their food before us. Our server never once came back to ask us if we needed anything, I had to catch her attention for a refill on my drink. When I eventually made eye contact with her again to indicate we needed our bill she literally rolled her eyes with attitude! It’s a terrible shame because I have been there numerous times and although it’s quite usual (if a little irritating) to have a wait for your food, the food is really good but today was the last time! I will not have a server roll her eyes at me like a teenager because she can’t be bothered to do her job…it’s not like she was busy, she had us and one other table and as far as I could tell there were at least 2 other servers on duty!!!

I was supposed to be refunded 23.88 for a burger and fries I never received after 50 minutes of waiting . I used my debit card to pay for the call in order. The assistant manager was trying to make the card refund but after several minutes if fooliing with the register just gave me cash instead. She took my receipt and walked into the kitchen. For several days I saw the 23.88 pending on my statement. Yesterday I see the final charge. 47.76. Apparently instead of refunding it properly she charged me a second time. I will be calling them as soon as they open. My review may get better or worse depending upon the outcome of the call.

This time the food was just, ok. On prior visits I would rate it 4 stars for good country comfort food. service and atmosphere are always good

Best food, Great Service!!

This is definitely a tourist place. It's not bad, just not worth the money in my eyes. I did love the 50s diner look & vibe. I got the pulled pork platter & it was decent. If you like the 50s vibe & like the tourist place I say give it a try. The staff were very friendly & was always there if you needed anything.

Jewel out in middle of nowhere but near Natural Bridge Va. Great service by very friendly staff, reasonable prices and food so good. Smothered chicken with mashed potatoes and baked apples filled me up . Son had hugh burger and could barely finish. Definitely coming back

30 minute wait for table. 60 minutes later received food. Took too long for server to explain delay. Server said they were short staffed and larger parties got priority. Food was good.

So we got there at about 8:50am we’re sat down and looking at were they it us there may have been one other table left so they were fairly busy I get it, but when atleast a hole other family that came in 20 minutes after us are sat down got there drinks and order taken before us that’s not great!

So I went up to the front counter and found our waitress ,she hadn’t been directed that we had been sat down for her ,so no communication between wait staff ,even though we had been watching her walk past us for twenty minutes or more?

She gets us coffee and we weight some more she comes back and gets our order , I’m watching the other family that got there before us and I’m noticing they still hadn’t gotten there food yet and atleast 45minutes had gone by we got our coffee warmed up twice and we’re still waiting for food ,I got up again and asked for an ETA they told me five minutes and that went past so I asked them to make our food to go we ended up waiting about an hour and finally asked to take or food to go.

We had an animal encounter to get too and should have had more than enough time to get there but ended up eating in the Safari park parking lot.

If you’re in a hurry make the drive to Lexington you will save time!

Food wasn’t bad though

We have waited two hours here and still not had our food. Its been slammed here that I can see. I understand that it happens but two hours is kinda ridiculous.

Slow service, slow to get food, and excuses from waitresses.

We were in the area for Liberty University Graduation. The place we stayed recommended it to us, since it was close, we gave it a try. Food was excellent (made to order), service was great, and place made you feel like you were back in 50's. The wait for service took a few minutes, however, they were busy and only 2 waitresses working. We enjoyed the food and service, that we ate there twice during the week we stayed.

Terrible service. Waited 30 mins to be seated then another 20 for drinks then an hour for food. Didn’t get half our food or silverware for another 10 mins. Food was cold. Hardly anyone there. Food was good but wouldn’t go back

we waited about 10 minutes to get seated and an hour and 15 minutes for a tuna sandwich and fries...The waitresses are great and friendly..They were not extremely busy.they apparently need more cooks..Everyone had to wait for their order..

Wait times are terrible just like the food. Absolutely dreadful. This place used to be so good years go. A recent search of your Google reviews would’ve saved us 2 hours. We will never be back.

Upon arrival, we were told a 30 min wait to be seated even though there were multiple tables open and multiple servers working. We finally got sat and ordered our food, I ordered the Mack Burger which comes with mac&cheese and bacon, my husband ordered The King which is a peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich, and my toddler got the kids chicken nuggets. It took 45 mins to get our food. My husband's peanut butter sandwich was terrible and he ordered sweet potato fries which were cold and hard. They brought him out regular fries instead. I decided to order a side salad after I received my food which ended up being $6.... My burger was overcooked and dry. I ordered it medium. Really disappointing and honestly don't recommend. Apparently they have new management and I can bet it's pretty disappointing for the previous owner to see the reviews like this one. Also, for an Elvis themed restaurant, they didn't have any music playing or any of his movies or anything. Really unexciting atmosphere.
