A joy to stop in to. Food was great, wonderful wine selection, and staff and setting were top notch. Definitely not family friendly, the dining area is one small room with 6 or so tables, which was nice. Would absolutely stop back in, this place was great. Unsure of the person complaining on portion size, I took half my sandwich with me.

This experience was absolutely great, very delicious, and had a friendly atmosphere... we heard the guitar during the meal, it was suggested to have real gastro at this place. The dishes change each time but it is always possible to have a cheese dish (3 types) and wine.
In summer there are tables outside but inside there are 6 wonderful and unique tables.
We chose the whipped feta, salmon, beef bourguignon, and vegetable curry. Bread is included for free
Also coffee, tea and dessert available

Absolutely lovely. Sat outside, drank espresso, and assembled some lovely smoked salmon on an everything bagel. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to my day.

Flew up from Atlanta to see a group of my dearest college girlfriends for a reunion. Never expected to find this foodie gem in some place called Nellysford Virginia. (Gorgeous btw) Delicious food, warm service a curated wine list. Absolutely wonderful and memorable.

What a lovely spot for a delicious lunch and wonderful people!

Food was good, and staff was friendly although the waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed (only 4 or 5 tables total in the restaurant). We felt a bit rushed at the end of our meal.

Prices were utterly unreasonable. $60 for 3 small sandwiches with chips (not homemade) on the side, and a small slice of chocolate cake (delicious by the way). I’m French, and even if I took you to a fancy place in Paris to get the same food, it would probably cost you half as much at the most.

Not a family-friendly place. However, if you’re over a certain age, want to feel fancy eating somewhere a French flag is flown and French words are found on the menu, and your wallet is fat enough that you don’t mind shelling out a pretty penny for sandwiches or a few vegetables, this restaurant is for you.
