Went at the end of the day so some of their ice cream was gone but not my kind so that's cool. People were friendly and it was nice to sit, chill and have ice cream with the family.
Cute spot at the base of the mountain. I really enjoyed the Almond Joy Ice Cream. The inside is a little drab but that doesn't really matter for an ice cream shop. I would recommend going
We had taken a day trip up into the mountains to walk the Crozet Rail Tunnel and stopped off at Bold Rock afterward. After leaving Bold Rock, we stopped off at Black Bear Creamery to get some ice cream. It was our first time there, and we will visit again the next time we are up that way. The ice cream was delicious.
