Stoney Creek at Wintergreen is one of the best publicity accessible golf courses in the Piedmont region of Central Virginia. The course features spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and is in excellent shape from tee to green. I played all 27 holes and the staff were friendly and pleasant and made sure my round was going smoothly. This is a must play course in the area and isn’t too difficult.
Have been twice now. Beautiful course. Used VSGA card for a really great deal to play on such a nice course. Go early. Driving range is included at no extra.
Terrible customer service, especially Joe in the pro shop. There are better courses to play in the area.
Beautiful golf course, but the rough is aptly named. Tough and gnarly for sure. Greens were beautiful and fast.
The golf course itself is very beautiful. The greens are well kept. But there’s a young kid at the front desk who just is so arrogant. We moved our tee time from 9 to 12 but paid ahead of time ( Which We told him we did). he discredited us by saying we paid at the North Carolina Stoney creek, without even looking in his computer. He said we all have to pay.
We continued complaining to him how we definitely paid. He finally did the bare minimum And saw that we had a tee time at eight for which we paid for. Then proceeded to blame us, and say we should’ve told him (we did) Again do the bare minimum and you would’ve known. Besides that it was a great experience. Otherwise, it probably would have been a five out of five

One of the best courses in the area! Great staff and food at Iron & Ale is top notch.
Though the grass was still dormant the course was amazing!
Nice course but I parked my cart to get a bite to eat at the clubhouse, and I reckon it was in the wrong place. Instead of moving the cart they threw all my golf gear on the ground and started cleaning the cart. Now I am missing stuff and my clubs are scratched up. Disrespectful and just plain rude.

Play the July the fifth. Course was absolutely beautiful. Had a friend with me which has played Some of the top golf courses in the country. And he said, as far as the views. In the condition of the course. Was as good as he has played in a long time. We look forward to going back real soon.
