It has a relaxed, rough-hewn atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We did not try the beers or cocktails but the menu had some really tasting looking cocktails. We actually happened upon the place while looking for somewhere to eat. The menu had some inviting looking entrees, so we thought we would give it a go, however, the food was really terrible and expensive. I ordered a $15 bean smash burger that was more like a rice and bean loosely-held together patty, with tons of chipotle aioli on top. We also ordered a burger well-done and it was very pink (which I get, there is an art to nearly-well-done and still tasty) but even with the pink it was bitter charred on the outside. Neither of us ate more than a few bites of our entrees. I still think it is a great place, but I would go for drinks, not food.

Looking for a good brewery, and a place to eat look no further. We did have to wait for a table, but we were seated far quicker than the expectation. This is by far the best brewery and Restaurant close to the Wintergreen resort area. The beer was absolutely fantastic and the food was incredible. I had the Philly cheesesteak, and it was by far the best one I have ever had. Also, had the Parmesan fries so delicious. The service was great and very attentive. We had Martha as our server she was fantastic!
Best place around. They worked very hard to get us seated quicker than the time estimated, the food was amazing, and the customer service was hands down the best in the area. We had Martha as our waitress and she was awesome!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Three Notch'd Brewery. Our server Ellie was amazing and the food was delicious and came surprisingly quick for our group of 13. The atmosphere was fun with a big area outside for kids to play and cornhole was fun while we hung out. We look forward to visiting next time we are in the area.

This was my first time coming to Three Notch'd and I will definitely be coming back. The food was delicious. I got the High on the Hog with a side of mac n cheese, I do not usually get BBQ food but this was amazing. We made a reservation and they sat us right away. The food came out very fast. Overall a great experience.

The only reason I gave them 4 stars for the atmosphere was we got there very late and there was no crowd. Perhaps in the bar area, but we weren't seated near there. We will be back! Thanks.
Prompt and excellent service by Hurt Douglas. Delicious IPA recommendation! Burger and fries were cooked perfectly. The Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream was the bomb! This is definitely worthy of a return visit!

We have been several times since the new location opened. Of course there are kinks to work out, as with any new business, but we have been very pleased with the food, drinks and service. We look forward to visiting again! (We also love that they are dog friendly!)

Three Notch'd hosted a family event for us, setting up the celebration in the Lodge Room, providing the food, beverages, service, music, a microphone, and the service was excellent. Food tasty and very well presented. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to plan and host an event here. Staff was extremely helpful in planning and went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed to make the event special.Vegetarian options: This was an afternoon reception. Food was a good selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian items

We are frequently out in Nellysford, and currently building a home out there. The beer is good, as is the whiskey, and food ok. This is NOT a brewery, but a restaurant that serves their own beer. 6 months out of the year (cold weather) you'll need a reservation after a day hike for a pint and some nachos. (Unless you are lucky enough to grab one of 8 bar seats.) Nice add to area, but better options for a pop in pint.
