The Owner Discriminates Against Old Bills

I stopped at the Dairy Queen on Courthouse Road by Colonial Downs to grab ice cream for my kids. I handed the cashier a perfectly good ten dollar bill. They looked at it strangely and said they could not take it. No pen test. No light. No manager. Just a firm no because “the owner does not take old bills.”

I stood there holding legal U.S. currency like I had tried to pay with a seashell. I have been coming here for years with my kids. After this I will find another place for ice cream. Getting pretty wild when you can’t pay with cash. Completely absurd.

Spent $62 on food and the cheap manager wouldn’t give me the small cup of gravy that I paid for last time that they never put in my bag. Terrible service… and I tipped them $5 SMH… terrible.

The superman combo was so good I couldn't see straight to drive home. I had to walk it off in the gas station parking lot and smoke a half pack of camels. My wife was pissed!! I would give 6 stars if it was an option!

It was nice to find a place that still served food! In my neck of the woods, the DQs only now serve ice cream. My cheeseburger tasted just as I remembered years ago. They cut down on the portion size of the fries and sundae though.

Had never been, decided to take my grandson and granddaughter out for a milkshake. It was pretty tasty. I would go back to get another one. 💥👈👍😎

We stopped by last night for Blizzards and for 30 dollars it was probably the worst ever. I ordered the turtle pecan and there was only 2-3 piece of pecans and a cup of soft serve. No other ingredients. My wife ordered the choco brownie and it looked and tasted like a cup of chocolate cake icing. Trust me looked way worse. The other 2 blizzards were the Superman so I guess they were okay as the kids ate them. I think this one is off the radar and will stick to other locations.

Nice clean and always a treat whether you get food or dessert!

It was great. There are fewer and fewer Dairy queens that actually use their grill every year so I take advantage of the ones that still do because their burgers are hard to beat.
