Went here for lunch today, took 30 mins to get us our drinks, the resturant was basically empty maybe 4 tables seated, waitress couldn't speak louder than the music playing, our appetizer came out (potato skins) after about 25 mins and were cold also looked just like the Friday's brand ones you get at the freezer section of grocery store, food came out at about 50 mins, burger and French dip, both burnt to a crisp with all the griddle flakes to go with it, added the $2 side order of onion rings, the only decent thing we received, both took one bite and was unable to eat anymore, waitress did refund meals but never saw a manager, also noticed the place is riddled with cameras on the dining area (counted 9), I used to love this place when it first opened, now I will never return.

My wife and enjoyed our Chesapeake Crab Dip and Brussel sprouts appetizers. We had different burgers which were delicious. Our server was excellent. Friendly and professional. She took care of our needs. As we were leaving we used the restrooms. Both were filthy. If we had used them before we were seated, I doubt we would have stayed.

Avoid, long wait times due to poor management and owners. Cold food that is subpar. If this business wasn’t a local near the high school it would be shut down. Other options to eat nearby would be your best option.

We discovered this restaurant simply because we were looking for a central location between our home and our daughters home. I’m so glad we did. The service was a little disappointing only because they were busy with only two waitstaff. That has become the norm these days. The food was very good and the price was shocking because we got a lot of food for minimal cost. We will be returning for sure.

We ventured into a part of the county that we live in to run an errand and happened upon this amazing place to have lunch. We both had the mushroom Swiss burger and they were cooked perfectly and were extremely generous in size and toppings. Probably one of the best burgers I have had anywhere. While looking at the extensive menu one of the pizzas caught my eye so I decided to order one to go and it was delicious! We will definitely be returning.

The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoy the music on the weekends and the wait staff is very good and helpful. The one area that needs improvement is the ordering process. I cannot go without taking my daughter, so she can order for me. I would like to be able order with a waiter. For large groups where there are multiple checks, each check should get there own QR code to make it easier to check out.

Have been here a handful of times and honestly I’m never impressed. Food is just okay but service is bad. We went on Sunday for Mother’s Day and all ordered drinks at the same time my boyfriend got his, me and my mom didn’t get our until he got his second drink? Waited about 20 minutes just for drinks from the bar with only three other tables in the restaurant. That’s the last time I’ll be going back.

Their staff is ridiculous . rude. and right out unprofessional. wont be spending my mony here anymore. & also someone tell samantha that talking about ruining customers food as a joke isn't funny.

I will be the first to say a few months ago we went here after several visits and the service was not up to par, but we decided to give this place another chance since we had many good visits. Let me just say they did not disappoint. The staff was attentive, the food was delicious and hot, and came out super-fast. Our server Brooke E was awesome! Of course, seeing Dakota Kensy was also a plus, he is a great up and coming artist and I recommend you check him out. My six-year-old loves him and he is so nice to her. It was just a great night we had a really good time. Recommend the chicken dinner with the brussels sprouts, and the Cuban was great one of the best I have had. They also have good pizza and apps. A nice little place to check out in the New Kent area.

Service has gone down hill. The last few months it has been a decline. I would guess the owners are spread to thin between the multiple restaurants. This has resulted in no one watching to ensure basic service is happening. I try to support local whenever possible. I understand Covid staffing impacts. The restaurant was staffed for the one table that had patrons at it. The staff was rude and disrespectful tonight. They were literally standing around, no service. Your staff represents your establishment. If they are disrespectful you are allowing it.

This place is hidden gem. Definitely better than the star rating the star rating it’s currently got. We went on a Wednesday night and we were sat immediately. The server was friendly and gave us honest feedback about the items on the menu we asked about. The atmosphere was laid back with simple decor, but the owners obviously know what are we doing. The food was outstanding. We got the deviled eggs as an appetizer and they were as good as homemade. For entrees we got the Cubano, the fried chicken and the fried shrimp. Portions we generous, especially considering the prices being really reasonable. The food was all fresh and flavorful. It appeared that everything we got with possible the exception of the bun for the cubano, was made in house. The fries were hand cut and can come tossed in truffle oil, which is great. An important thing to note is that the menu, ordering, and paying are done through a QR code on the table. We found it easy to use, but if you don’t have a smart phone and plan to pay with cash, it may be a bit more complicated.

Enjoyed a Friday on the back patio with family. A band just started as we were leaving so check their website if interested in music. We had some good seasonal local ales (pumpkin in the house) and assorted food. I had a great Cuban. Neil (I think) was a great friendly and humorous server.

I see from the reviews we are not the only ones disgusted by the fact that we could not “tell” the young lady at the door that we wanted to order a couple of hamburgers and french fries. We were told that we needed a SMART phone in order to place our order. After stating that we did not have SMART phones she actually asked me if I had one at home I wanted to go get!?!? REALLY ! I informed her that I just have a small flip phone for emergencies and was informed that this was their policy and the ONLY way to place orders. I see from recent reviews that other guests that did not like the ordering process either were given plastic menus when they complained. Are we as seniors being discriminated against because we choose NOT to participate in the electronic revolution? We patronize the majority of the business owners other restaurants on a regular basis. NOT ANY MORE.

The owners of this restaurant, and several others in New Kent, have gone woke with ordering only by cellphone once seated at the restaurant. No menus and thus no sit down service - might as well go to a fast food restaurant. Not ADA compliant. I have problems with vision and could not order by my cell phone. "Waitress" would not provide a menu. This is nothing more than an attempt to reduce costs and service. At a sit down restaurant I expect a waitress who takes the order and periodically checks in to see if I am satisfied and need anything else - like a refill on my drink, salt and pepper, sweetener, etc. That results in a gratuity for service. Finally, can't pay with cash, want your credit card even before you order anything. Will not go back.

The pizza is spot on and the menu is so creative! New Kent needed a another pizza option and I'm glad we have this.
