This restaurant is currently closed. We ordered food on Door Dash on 9/5/23 and although Doordash accepted the order, when we arrived to pickup the restaurant is under construction inside and isn’t open though their Google profile says they are open and close at 8:00 pm. The phone line goes straight to voicemail. When we ordered in the past the food was amazing, hopefully they open again soon. Please update your Google profile, Shital’s Kitchen.

I ordered through door dash. I ordered 2 ordered of Samosas and garlic naan to go with some leftover Jhalfrazie (lamb dish) from another restaurant. The Samosa were tiny, terribly seasoned and the garlic naan was bland and burned is some places. I ordered from here a year ago and it was delicious. Not sure what happened this time but I won’t bother to order from them again. Extremely disappointed.

Super friendly coming right through the door and such a nice, clean set up inside. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (spicy) and ate inside as I had time to kill. I haven't had Indian food in some time but they definitely kill it with flavour of their food! The Naan bread given had such a light but buttery taste and not overly greasy which was yum! Paired with the rice, it made such a great, filling meal. Definitely recommend this small business for a yummy, quick, and filling meal!

Good food, best eaten as take out. There is seating inside but it lacks an inviting atmosphere for dining in.

I absolutely love this place. When I first saw the menu, I got scared that its "American-fusion" style aspects was going to mean watered down Indian food. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Every dish I've had from here has been amazing, traditional or fusion, and much to my surprise the marsala fries are actually a favorite of mine.I went in today after a long trip abroad to find that they are planning more fusion styles to not only cater to the community but help bridge their palate to the traditional stuff. They were nice enough to let me try some of new things they are experimenting on and I can't wait for this new menu to come out.Shital's is easily one of the best spots on the Southside. Great family, great food, and great ideas on how to bring Indian food to the masses without compromising tradition. This place is where it's at, Guys.

More set up for to-go orders. Not really a full-service sit down restaurant as food is served in to-go containers and water is bottled. The food was next-level and surprised us on how good it was for this quick service location. The chili pepper and garlic naan were thinly made, very flavorful, and wonderful dipped in a variety of sauces. The chicken tiki masala and butter chicken were extremely well developed, the flavors were deep and you find yourself going back again and again for more. The food is served piping hot and the portions, including meat, were generous, but not excessive - just right. We highly recommend trying this if you want banging good Indian food and you’re in a pinch for time or want something fabulous to take and serve at home.

Please post your times properly. We get there at 7:15pm on a Saturday night and as we entered we were told they are closed. We drove for over 30minutes!

Few things I see:Portion of food doesn’t match with price.I hope they adjust the prices accordingly.Buffet with 4 items (only one meat dish, no biryani) $15.99. ROFLOrdered veg biryani. Dish made with basmati rice doesn’t fits into biryani. It’s more like a fried rice. When you charge like restaurant, people expect quality, quantity at same level.

I've ordered here a couple times and have not been disappointed. The food is good and the staff is friendly. The chicken tikka masala and naan were good. The portions are great as well. I do wish you could dine in as well but it's definitely more of a to-go place. I would definitely eat here again.

My favorite Indian food in the Richmond area.I recently ordered Shital's for take out and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of flavors and spices that left my taste buds tingling. The service was also excellent, with the staff being incredibly friendly and helpful. Prices are slightly high for the quantity of food you receive. However, I find the quality to be worth the higher price. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing Indian dining experience in the Richmond area. I plan to order both the methi chicken and butter chicken again soon.

We picked up some lunch from here and were mighty impressed with everything! We got the Chole Bhature and Samosa Chat to go: the taste was divine! The seasonings were perfect, as was the overall brightness of taste in each bite. Nothing was overpowering or on the other hand, bland. The portions and pricing were balanced and ideal for us.Our congratulations to the chef and owners, we will be coming back for sure.

Tried it for the very first time. Honestly samosa chat wasn't that bad but not great, also quantity was very less. Butter chicken was watery and chicken felt undercooked, not edible, very disappointed. Garlic naan was mediocre.

We had the masala dosa and butter chicken. The masala potatoes reminded me of the ones my former South Indian mother-in-law use to make (delicious). The dosa could have been a little more crispy but it was still very good. The butter chicken was a little sweeter than I usually like but it was still tasty. The coconut chutney and sambar were also good. The restaurant was spotless, however the atmosphere was aseptic: no music, no decorations, nothing but white walls. The woman who served us was very friendly and service was great! The portions were very generous. My friend and I easily shared an order of butter chicken. We’ll definitely be returning!
