First time eating here and everything was excellent. First time I have eaten all the refried beans and the the beef was tender. The beef seasoning was delicious with touch of cinnamon. Can't wait to come back to try more dishes.

Ordered the ramen birria. Bad idea. Has no taste and no meat. Do not order it or you will regret it. I know i did. If you want some delicious ramen birria go to Abuelitas down midlothian too bad they are closed on Mondays

It was an amazing experience, from the moment we walked into the restruant the service was amazing, the atomsphere was relaxing and the food was big portions and amazing tasting, truly a text book defenition of a 5 star experience

I decided to try Speedy Gonzales (formerly Tres Machos) as they offer quesabirria on a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla. I placed a to-go using the Toast online system and ordered the quesabirria combo with yellow rice and refried beans and the chicken street tacos with yellow rice. When you enter the restaurant, it is super inviting and the setup/decor is truly on theme. Unfortunately, after taking the 20 minute drive back home to enjoy the order, I was missing both orders of yellow rice and the order of refried beans. I had to call the restaurant about 4 times before anyone answered. Thankfully, I spoke with the manager Kevin and he resolved the issue and processed a partial refund for the missing items; I will see if that refund comes through. As for the taste and quality of the food, I would give them 5 stars. The birria was flavorful and tender, the onions and cilantro were fresh, and the presentation was spot-on. The portions were also great. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of the missing items and the struggle to get a manager on the phone, however, because the food was well prepared and tasted great, I will definitely be returning.

Changed owner and name recently, now Called Speedy Gonzales Taco and Tequila Bar, but still amazing portions and food for such a great price. Food came out quick, and we're quick to fix any mistakes with my order. Made sure we were stocked with chips and refills. Burrito bowl was at least twice the size of chipotle, but was actually cheaper that Chipotle. There was no one here tonight, which I don't understand as everything was delicious. Everyone needs to come here

DO NOT EAT HERE!! 2 FAMILY MEMBERS WERE POISONED AND ENDED UP AT PATIENT FIRST GETTING IV FLUIDS FROM VOMITING AND DIARRHEA FOR HOURSSS. Both order quesadillas, honestly should be suing. It was 2 days before thanksgiving and still one of the family members can not eat anything on thanksgiving…the holiday has been ruined and they experienced fevers with elevated WBC 😡

Tiny but popular Mexican restaurant is cozy and pretty inside. Immediately served crispy chips and thick flavorful salsa. We asked for queso and a very generous portion was quickly delivered. I ordered Texas taco salad and hubby ordered the chimichanga. The entrees were quickly delivered and both very plentiful portions. We agreed our entrees were delicious! Definitely will return!
