We are new to the area and went out on Father's day to find something to eat. After some google abd Facebook searching we found a Father's day Baby back ribs and fried chicken buffet at this place and decided to try it out. We loved it and will definitely eat here again.

Your Grate Escape catered our wedding in September and we couldn’t have been more pleased! Clint is an absolute amazing cook, and every single one of our guest was in awe at how good the food was! Everything was set up beautifully and tasted absolutely wonderful! My husband is still talking about how he wants our wedding meal again for dinner!! Definitely book with Clint! You won’t be disappointed!

We did catering for a family reunion this weekend. Rave reviews from the family continued all weekend long!! Clint was extremely easy to work with, the price was reasonable, but most importantly the food was delicious!! Clint arrived on time, took care of the set up. We were extremely happy with the entire experience. If you need catering in Tazewell, VA, I highly recommend Grate Escape.
Our Church group of 13 ate at Grate Escape early evening at 4:30PM.. The selection was great - all home made, chicken salad, pimento cheese, Tomato Basil Soup excellent. The prices are very reasonable and desserts so good!! This is a great local restaurant, not to be missed. Clint Neel and his staff provide excellent service.

We had the Whiskey Glazed Pork Chops a couple of days ago and my husband is still talking about them. We love the atmosphere and the people who work there go above and beyond to help any way they can! Definitely having it again! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get! Thank you to the wonderful crew for giving Tazewell an excellent place to eat!

Very good steak....ya pay for what ya want....
