Santini's New York Style Deli - Oakton

Just ordered $160.00 of food tonight and to put it mildly it sucked, the chicken tenders looked like smashed burnt chicken patties, the fries were mushy, the lamb gyro was nothing more than a salad, hardly no meat and a ton of lettuce, the Reuben looked like it was taken out of a trash can and I had to drive back because they forgot my daughters cheese sticks which at this point they were closed and met the staff in the parking lot and they had to go back inside to make them, and it gets better because the owner was the one who took my order and assured me that everything was in the bag but he was the first one to leave his business, I would definitely not recommend anyone to eat there 😤

There has been a persistent burning smell to this restaurant for awhile now. Only now writing this review as it's been over a year and the issue isn't addressed. It becoming known as "isn't that the place that smells like it's burning?"

If that problem is resolved I'll update review to 4/5 stars. As of now though, it feels like it's definitely a potential air hazard being in the restaurant.

I really enjoyed the sandwich’s at this location. The deli meats and cheeses tasted fresh and the bread was good as well. I ended up getting the Godfather and my son got the Italian. Great stuff.

The cheese steak was great, fast service. I stop by often after golfing. Delicious and fast if you don't have much time. Try them.

i am hopeful but disappointed everytime I try this place. The meatball are too bready and rubbery. The onions and peppers on the sausage sub seem to be steamed, not fried and the french fries are soggy.

Ordered a Hawaiian pizza and beef calzone. Was ready quickly but the bacon bits on the pizza as in large mounds, not spread around the pizza for some reason. Taste was still good though. Service was fine. Not exceptional.

This review is only for their pizza....I can't speak to their other offerings. We stopped by on a Saturday night for a couple of slices of pizza. It was probably the most horrid pizza I've ever had, to include old frozen pizza. The crust was soggy, the sauce flavorless and waaay too much cheese, resulting in a soggy, greasy, flavorless mess. I had to throw out most of it.

This place has really good subs. I have not experienced the pizza, but I have heard it as good as well. There’s not much of an ambience when sitting down, it’s a very open space but good enough for a deli. I highly recommend the Italian sub.

Food has always been delicious. Grilled chicken ceasar salad is a favorite. Chicken philly is a favorite.
