Wrong order. I ordered the mc rib. They ran out of buns and put my stuff on a mcdouble bun. They slide in my bag, and when I notice they denied me a refund. Also drinks were out in the lobby and nobody changed it.

Drove through on 12/02/2024 at approx 6:03 p.m. order #1482 at the Onley VA, Lankford Hwy store, order was for McRib meal, medium drink and fry. The board outside revealed $9.88 total. Drive to the window, large sized male at drive window asked first for $11.00, then said $10.81. I handed him the $11.00, only received 2 nickels (10 cents) for my change. I started to speak up and he said oh wait, reached into register, pull out some change, held it in his hand and then handed me my bag, then my drink and straw. I asked for my receipt, the female assisting at window handed him what I believed to be receipt. When I got down the road a bit, my husband mentioned I was overcharged as the board showed $9.88. I asked my husband for receipt and it was not a receipt but rather an order ticket that is meant to stick to outer side of bag. So, I was ripped off, intentionally, because although he recognized his error, he never even gave me the remaining change for even the inflated price.

I waited for my hotcakes and 20 minutes later they were finally ready and they were cold. Part of the order was incorrect. I ordered a strawberry milkshake from the kiosk to be handed a vanilla milkshake, I said I ordered strawberry and was told “we don’t got no strawberry.” The entire visit was spent listening to the managers yell at their employees in the kitchen. Very unwelcoming environment.
Placed an online order at 9:42 pm. It is 10:20 pm and my kids are still waiting to pick it up. I travel between upstate New York and Miami Florida very consistently and this McDonalds in Onley, Virginia is the only one I purposely try to avoid. After this debacle, I will most likely deactivate my McDonalds account on the app. Absolutely horrible service from this location. Giving all of McDonalds a bad name. Owners should be ashamed of this location and McDonald’s should pull their franchise. I recommend skipping this McDonalds and go to the one in Exmore or Cape Charles if heading south or Pocomoke City or Princess Anne if heading North. Onley McDonalds is a joke and has been for a long time.
