Absolutely amazing!!! Yesterday we hosted my daughter’s wedding at Wolftrap Farm and oh how the catering team knocked it out of the park!!! The staff was phenomenal!!! Food was great!!! We highly recommend this team!!! Woods-Jones Wedding
Working with Ashly was a positive and easy experience. Communication with her was fast and her feedback was always extremely helpful. There are multiple options for food which was great for our guests who had specific allergies. All of the food was delicious both during the tasting and on the day of our wedding. Her staff members were prompt and made sure that we had plenty of time to eat during the event while taking care of our guests. We are very thankful to have worked with Ashly and we highly recommend her services.
I don't know how things are normally done but the food was completely overcooked and mushy. Additionally the service staff were speed clearing tables and multiple wedding guests told us they felt they were being rushed through everything. For the price, the food and service were below standard by far. Very little communication between the caterer and us through the whole process. Honestly, dissatisfaction across the board which tainted our wedding. I feel ripped off.
The price is competitive and the silverware is good however:1. The food at the tasting was completely different from the food served. The food at the tasting was amazing. The food at the wedding was simply bad.2. I had specifically requested some items, including pan-fried brussel sprouts, and Ashly noted this. However, day-of, Ashly gave us steamed brussel sprouts.3. We were told that beef would be served as a whole roast to be carved - it was served as slivers of dried meat in an aluminum tray.4. The bartender repeatedly told people that X, Y, or Z couldn't be made because they didn't have them. I had to repeatedly correct her to look in the store room where everything was.5. The servers were children. As far as I'm aware they did their job just fine, but it was weird that children were serving.
A couple of weeks ago, we came to Ashly after our previous caterer cancelled on us 4 weeks prior to our wedding. She was understanding of the situation and remained an anchor throughout all of the transitions we had to make as we entered into contract with her, updated our venue, and connected her with our planner. She was professional, caring, and very responsive to us throughout the entire planning process for our event. On the day of our event, guests were in absolute awe of her team's service and the food was simply delicious. If you're looking for a caterer that will execute your event without flaw, look no further!
Ashly and her staff were very professional and everything looked great and tasted even better! She was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend her to our family and friends.
Hey everyone wanted to update this review for you all. One of the biggest issues is our refund states by Ashly we were receiving was never sent to us. Her response to my review (not to point out the extreme unprofessionalism referring me as “nightmare”), she stated the refund would have been sent out 60 days from our wedding date being November 18th. To this day she has still avoided the emails of a status and it’s been beyond 60 days and we have no received the refund STILL. I felt that was very important to inform you guys. Save your money and time and don’t get trapped into such an awful experience like my husband and I did!I don’t even know where to begin. If I say here and wrote every thing they went wrong and how rude she was I would run out of space. We regret every being recommended and using her. They ran out of food on our wedding day, the tomato soup with the grilled cheese shooters were cold and was like Jello, we paid for two types of salad and only got one, the chicken skewers were so dry snd stuck on the skewer and wouldn’t come off, they threw away the left over food from the rehearsal, and a staff member literally went to my mother and apologized for running out of food. Ashly also in writing stated she will give us a portion of a refund back that would be processed 60 days from our wedding which was September 19th. 60 days would have been the 18th of November and we have yet received the check in the mail. When I email her about it she A) avoids the question and doesn’t address it or B) never responds. Please save your time, stress, and money and use a more professional and efficient caterer!
We booked Ashly Kaye's for our wedding! Not only were they affordable, they made my day go so smoothly. They provided bartenders & were flexible for cocktail hour. The food was great & they also packed it up for us to take the leftovers. Great caterer!
When we had our tasting, the food tasted great but at the event, it wasn’t up to par. Our beef roast was so overcooked that people couldn’t chew into it, the pasta was cold and the chicken did not taste as good as at the tasting. The food was sitting out for hours before dinner and we felt very rushed. I went up to feed my son and came back and my plate was gone. My husbands plate was taken when he was sitting there. When boxing up the rest of our food to take home, they gave us a pan full of bruschetta tomatoes and no bread. Didn’t give us the cheese or the baked potato bar extras. Very very disappointed for the amount of money we paid for this. A lot of our guests complained about the food and how they were cleaning up while people were still eating.Edit: to reply to your post, half of that stuff should be included anyway. That doesn’t take the place of the food not being up to par. No one told you to cook the roast a different way then what it’s supposed to be so I don’t know where you’re getting that from. And to post the price we paid and our guest list is extremely unprofessional. I hope others can see that and use a different caterer. It will save their wedding day. Also - WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO COVID BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T GET THE MEAT. YOU WERE THE ISSUE. So to say you "let us" reschedule.... you seriously need to reconsider how you run your business. Let's change this to 1 star - zero if I could.
We used this catering service for our wedding about two years ago. My correspondence with Ashly was awkward and a bit unprofessional prior to our wedding since she misunderstood parts of our arrangement. I think her organization maybe wasn't the best.With that being said, the food was great (lots of guests commented how much they loved it), the staff worked so hard and were very professional and we had no issues at all the day of our wedding. I think the value of the food can't be beat.

My experience with Ashly started out great, she was very helpful and provided information even though responses were a little delayed. She met us in the middle of the week for our tasting and even though she had to drive about an hour to meet us with the food everything tasted amazing. Her price was amazing compared to what we had received from more local caterers, I had assumed that this was because of her location and not being directly tied to a venue. Overall it took awhile to receive responses to any of my questions, but she was plenty fast to respond when it was something that she wanted. When it came time for my final balance to be paid, I paid prior to the required date via a listed method on her invoice (invoice was through PayPal, I used the pay with bank option). She immediately emailed me saying that she needed to cancel this because she wouldn't have the funds soon enough and I would have to pay a different way. I found it extremely odd and unprofessional that a business doesn't have the funds to cover their events in these situations as well as how she communicated with me. There was quite a bit of back and forth, a huge amount of stress that I would be out my money and have a caterer back out on me. Everything turned out fine in the end as far as that goes but it was still unnecessarily stressful 9 days prior to my wedding.As far as the food and the actual catering for the event goes, it was ok but that's it. The hor d'oeuvres were good from what I had and what I was told, but I was told at our tasting that we would have a plate of them at our table since we would be busy with pictures. We didn't get that so unfortunately I missed out on most of that. For the buffet food the meat was extremely dry and tough, I only took a few bites before I pushed it to the side. The sides were great, the baked mac n' cheese was very good. We had plated salads for everyone and it was a very good salad, I actually would have had seconds on it! The staff overall was good, it took awhile for them to clear plates and my dj actually ended up clearing our plates so they wouldn't be in pictures. The bartenders were fantastic and super personable.I had some feedback from a few of my vendors that they were told that there were only 4 vendor plates available when I had been told that there would be 10 available. Also when it came time to cut and serve the cake we were told that they didn't have forks for the cake and they had already cleared peoples plates and forks so no one had anything at their table. They ended up supplying the cocktail forks from the meatballs for people to eat their cake with.
Mediocre at best. Bland over cooked food. The staff was friendly. Wish they were dressed a little better for formal events. The same to have their work together and smooth just really disappointed in quality.*you did not have a contract with me. I was a guest.
