I am the Virginia chapter lead of a national organization. While planning a meeting in Orange, VA, the venue manager recommended Coopers as a possible caterer. My wife and I had dinner there to check it out. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the professionalism of the owner, Denise, so I arranged for her to cater my meeting a couple months later.

Having grown up on Delmarva, home of the broiler chicken industry and amazing fried chicken, I have to say that Coopers' fried chicken is as good as any I've had - it is her mother's recipe! The flavor of the pork BBQ is superb. The coleslaw is my wife's new favorite.

For our meeting, Coopers knocked it out of the park and I received several compliments about the lunch. In fact, a former chapter lead wrote "this was the best lunch the chapter has ever had!"

Denise's coordination throughout was PERFECT. We coordinated everything by text so we had it all in writing for reference. She was both proactive AND always responded to me within a few minutes.

The food was amazing, I had the country fried steak, my wife had the country fried chicken and both were phenomenal! The corn pudding, mashed potatoes and green beans were all great as well, 5 star food!

A Ten Out Of Ten! The Food was really good! Can’t remember the young ladies name that waited on us but she was so sweet and accommodating! I got the pork chops with gravy Mac and cheese corn pudding! My husband got chicken livers with onions, cream potatoes collards greens! Ice tea. Looking forward to coming back!

The food here is scrumptious, esp the fried catfish, corn pudding, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. The fries were a bit dry; not up to the quality of the other menu items we tried. We did, however, order an extra catfish meal with m&c to take home; it was that good. Our waitress was wonderful; a beacon of light in the ever-darkening world we seem to be living in.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of non-meat options on the menu.
