Inviting atmosphere, food, menu, and staff. Left stuffed and we'll pleased. The blackened cat fish and crispy brussel sprouts were superb.

We were in town visiting family and they suggested Spoon and Spindle. I'm glad they did, as the food was truly excellent. Everything was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone and I'll be swinging by again the next time I'm on town.

Great relaxing environment with a good assortment of food. The bonsai fries were an amazing combination that gave a unique Asian twist to a classic American side.

Our experience was phenomenal! Our waitress was amazing, took great care of us, told her we recently got engaged and they brought us champagne to celebrate... and the food, absolutely amazing, so flavorful and filling. We absolutely WILL be going back.

First time dining at Spoon & Spindle. We had an absolute amazing brunch. I ordered the Low Country Catfish and Grits. Not what I expected at all, but it was delicious!!. Can't remember the name of the dish my wife opted for but it consisted of two poached, garlic spinach and sauce over spuds. Can't wait to go back and try one of the signature biscuits.

Great spot for brunch. We really love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly, and the food is among the best in Central Virginia. They now take reservations through Open Table.

Our group enjoyed all of our entrées and sides. It was first time we had seen the onion straws on the menu and they were surprisingly good. As always, the brussle sprouts appetizer was excellent. The bread pudding dessert was a bit dry for me, as I find most bread puddings, but perhaps I am not a bread pudding person.

The beef wellington was NEXT LEVEL. This is a tough dish to master and it can go VERY wrong. I was dining with a British friend who orders it often and she said it was one of the best. The hush puppies were also really worth it. Brussels and onion strings also great. Fish and chips very good but not traditional, southern style so just be prepared (it says southern style on the menu so it was AS PROMISED and delish!). The space is unusual as its part of a bigger building set back from the road so if you are not local it can be hard to find. REALLY good food.
