Stopped by for the first time today and picked up 1 pulled pork sandwich,1 chicken sandwich, a side of Mac & cheese, smoked potato salad and coleslaw. The pulled pork sandwich tasted like my mother in law’s version of BBQ in a slow cooker, the same for the chicken. THAT IS NOT BBQ! The Mac and cheese was a store bought one, the smoked potato salad was over seasoned and I’m guessing that was liquid smoke used to give it that smoked flavor. As for the coleslaw it was the same slaw they give you with papusas. Cool building, decent wine selection really missing out on the opportunity with the patio that’s going to waste.

The customer service was very bad. The man who took our order was very short and barely even talked to us and ended up making the order wrong and would not acknowledge that the order was wrong at all. Overall, a very bad experience. Not sure if I ever visit again. And it happens on September 7 between 3:30 and 4:00

This place sucks. Didn’t have butter chicken. Paid just over $12 for a little hot dog he heated up in the microwave. Service was trash too.

That delightfully authentic historic local restaurant/pub with great food, great beer, a wide selection of wines, and a unique je ne sais quoi atmosphere.

Nice little market with a great selection of beers and wine at reasonable prices, very friendly proprietor/staff, and good food offerings with outdoor seating. The pulled pork smelled *AMAZING*, but we weren’t ready to eat yet, so passed…this time. They offer 15% off a case of 12 bottles of wine (mix and match allowed, including different prices), which is worth a return visit alone, but also to try the pulled pork, and another time for the butter chicken (their specialty). Highly recommend!

I’m not a smoker/vaper so can’t speak to those offerings in their front room.

I was expecting more from this place given the location and decor. The good: huge local beer selection, good wine selection. A few beers and cider on tapThe meh: we wanted BBQ and husband ordered the butter chicken. Food took a while to come out and we got a side and sandwich after we finished the rest of our food. The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was just reheated and wasn't hot, just luke warm. The butter chicken came.in what looked like a plastic microwave dish so I assume that is what it was, frozen or cold then microwaved. I just was expected better care and quality of the food given the eclectic decor. They are trying to do it all and need to focus in on what they are good at. There is a smoke shop, beer/wine store And "fresh" food service. The impression I get is a transfer of ownership at some point and a decrease in quality and purpose. There is a lot of eclectic outdoor dining but it looks.mpre rundown than purposeful at this point.Hope they improve but don't see going here again given the prices and quality.

Impressive beer selection. Was surprised to find two Colorado breweries represented that I never see distributed in Virginia - Avery and Great Divide.

The staff was nice enough, but the food was not good. When I went, I was served pulled chicken and Mac and cheese from a store bought tub (I think it was a Lloyd's brand). I ordered two sandwiches, and I watched as the staff took it out of the store bought tub and microwaved it. Three microwave dings for two sandwiches and one Mac. Very disappointing because I do that at home for much cheaper already. I don't recommend this place at all. Otherwise, the seating was unique, so that was interesting.

Thank you so much! The pork sandwich is fantastic. Amazingly tender and juicy. The sauce is tangy, and the smoke on this baby was done perfectly. A generous portion size and I could eat buckets of their slaw! This sandwich is in a whole different echelon! The beer selection is impressive. I am going back for more!
