Bunker bistro is very poorly run by the management. My family and I went to Bunker Bistro twice. The first time we went they messed up our order. They were supposed to have given us a replacement. So we try to go there a second time and they apparently never updated their hours on google, yelp, etc. When I emailed Bunker Bistro they never take any accountability. All they should have said is 'you're right, our hours are wrong and we should update that, thanks for letting us know'. But instead they basically say that it's our fault for not scouring the internet to find their hours. People aren't going to bother dealing with all of this just to find a place to eat at. Not worth the hassle.

My husband and I have attempted to frequent Bunker Bistro multiple times for different meals in the past several months. We love to support local restaurants, and wanted to be able to enjoy Bunker Bistro at Lake Monticello. However, our experiences have led us to decide to not return and frequent other restaurants in the area like Wahoo BBQ & El Vaquero West where we have had consistent positive experiences. Each time we have been to Bunker Bistro, the service we have received from staff has been lackluster and our food was edible and yet overpriced. As a former service industry employee, I am hoping the owners are able to hire folks who are committed and dedicated to service, and they can staff the restaurant more appropriately so other patrons will have better experiences in the future. I would love to give a better review with updates if these improvements are made.

I hosted a baby shower here last weekend for 30 people. Jacie and Joann were amazing in the planning, set up and follow through with this special occasion. The food was amazing and the service as well. They also provided beautiful tables with flowers in the color scheme I requested. I would highly recommend them if you are planning an event. Thanks to all of you! VW

First timers here! The service was great, our server (Garrett) was knowledgeable about drafts, food favorites and about the restaurant.
He promptly checked back when our food arrived and asked about everything. The food was good, not amazing, but nothing really to complain about except maybe the portion of coleslaw which was tiny yet yummy.
My wife loved her burger and her Mac n cheese was a hit.
Ambiance was a little strange with trivia night playing a new song every minute in between questions, but it was nice to see the place lively.
Will come again, but definitely felt more like a lunch restaurant where dinner was an afterthought.

I ordered the tuna. It mostly gristle; not sushi grade. It came with a " table spoon of rice and a similar portion of slaw. For $16, I would expect a better meal.

Ordered take out Sunday brunch and this is what I got for $13.95!!!! I ordered the corned beef hash with 2 eggs. Presentation was slopped together Portions are very small. I understand the process of food has increased, but charge me more and give me more food! Potatoes are cheap!

Excruciating pedestrian! The fish and chips were not worth $18 ! The fries were just horrible! The fish was passable! The egg plant was very good ! The chicken parm was weird and very average! Service was young teenagie like ! Coleslaw was actually cold but way too much dressing! The pasta for the chicken Alfredo was under cooked! It was interesting that all they did was put a fried chicken cutlet on top of pasta! Just very poorly executed food! I had to go to food lion to get the taste out of my mouth! The double gin and tonic was nowhere what it used to be!!! The selection was very limited! No salad with an $18 eggplant parm! After new management, the food is worse! The staff was very happy! I know they are trying hard, but this was a swing and a big miss!
