I'm just over 600 miles into my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, and the best meal I've had on trail so far was here.
I had the fried chicken dinner. It was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The fries were good and the Nashville hot pork rinds were impressive.
My server, Laura was friendly and attentive. Great place! Don't miss it!

The seared chicken and grilled shrimp are seasoned and cooked perfectly! The cheddar grits and mashed potatoes are delicious! The COLLARD GREENS are DIVINE!!! And the peanut butter pie is amazing (I'll ask for no chopped peanuts on top next time though...personal preference).

Food was decent. The iced tea was the worst we've ever had and the server spilled it all over my friend's plate and drenched her food. Overall, it was o.k. but we wouldn't go back.

We found this by reading reviews. The CHICKEN POT PIE , was out of this world. Salad was beautiful looking. Smash burger yummy. Pie and cookies, ya gotta try.

Went for bbq since they are the happy hog. Not smoked there. Must be frozen? Dry and no flavor. Ranch dressing is what tastes like the packets of ranch dip that you make, not good with salad. Coleslaw tasted like watered down mayo. No flavor whatsoever on anything I purchased. I’ve heard that if I wanted happy hog I should order a burger. So why name it the happy hog????
