Very basic but food was great and people were so nice

Do not come here new if you want fast food. They have 2 guys working and all they do is talk. Expect to wait 30-40 minutes for a simple order. Although the wait time is bad, the shop it’s self is very local and nice. I recommend ordering ahead.

This is 2025 and I have been here at Lumpkin Mobile Home part of Lumpkin Marina. The quality of the staff has been very accommodating during my here.

I had scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy! They were delicious!! I give this restaurant five stars!!

Best place at Smith Mountain Lake. Can't wait for them to open up for the season so I can order a boat load of BLTS. The food is always great and everyone is so friendly. Make sure to call your food in early if you don't like to wait.

The food is delicious. We went for breakfast. My wife ordered the special for that day which was biscuits and gravy with fried country ham and a pancake. Best pancakes we've ever had. I ordered the pork tenderloin with biscuit and a pancake. Like I said earlier yummy. The coffee wasn't much to be desired, but my wife has all the special coffee making supplies so it's hard to find a good cup of joe anymore. Lol. Expect to be seated outside under a shelter on picnic tables. Also recommend calling ahead unless you don't mind waiting an hour. I can honestly say waiting for those pancakes is worth it. If you say you want to do their pancake challenge you get three pancakes to eat in under 30 minutes. If you complete the task your meal is free. Definitely planning on coming back in the future. When we go back I'll be doing the challenge for sure.?

Very nice to have this hideaway on the lake.
If you order ahead you will avoid a long wait.
But if your not in a hurry or get there when it's not busy you will be Allright.

We are so glad we took the beautiful drive to Sandy’s at Lumpkins. If you have a boat, you can just pull up to the marina, but as we don’t, we made the drive. Totally worth it and one of the best meals we’ve had on our vacation to Smith Mountain Lake. Bonus are that the people there are so very sweet. We are a family of four with two very selective eaters and there wasn’t a crumb left on anybody’s plate. So delicious. We will definitely come back on our next vacation to Smith Mountain Lake and we highly recommend this to anybody on the fence about trying it out.
