Excellent food, impeccable service, welcoming atmosphere in an unexpected out of the way location. We had Chicken and waffles, country fried steak with sawmill gravy, onions and mushrooms, and homemade macaroni salad. Absolutely delicious!

What a great place for two motorcyclists to stop for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. The pancakes were delicious.

My first time eating here so first impressions are important. I came in around 2 o’clock in the afternoon and they were not very busy only about two other people in the restaurant. I just ordered something simple a couple of hotdog with everything and french fries. It took a little bit over 20 minutes to get my food in the server was very apologetic which was nice. The portion of french fries was very small, but the quality was decent although overly salted. The hotdog themselves were about a six out of 10 scale. One bun was a little bit soggy, and the other one was a little bit near the beginning of stale. The chili was bland and tasteless. Tasted like just a generic canned chili. I will try this restaurant again, but I doubt I will have the hot dogs again due to the pricing for the quality. The cost before tip was about $12.50. Not unreasonable price, but noteworthy due to the smaller portion of fries and the condition of the buns and the wait.
You can get two loaded hotdog with french fries at Holly Jo’s in Boones Mill for example for 8.95… and that restaurant quality never seems to disappoint.
The overall cleanliness in the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant and you can tell they keep a nice kitchen.
I will follow up in a further review when I come back and try something different on the menu as I cannot recommend the hot dogs, unfortunately.
