So so impressed! Fantastic lakeside food at small mom and pop restaurant. Plenty outdoor seating. Young lady informed us when she saw my credit card come out they are cash only but she worked around it and ill be mailing them a check tomorrow for our lunch. While im not sure when ill be back to Smith Mountain this will certainly be my lunch stop! Ill bring cash this time though.

We wanted to eat breakfast here during the week since we expected it to not be so busy. We came by pontoon boat. We did not end up eating here, because there is no place to park a pontoon that we could see. I gave a 3 star because I don't want to drag down the overall rating because their food might be great, but I wanted to warn others thinking about coming by boat, that you can park a speed boat here, but not a pontoon. Maybe next time, we will drive there and try their tiple berry pancakes!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday at 1:00. We were the only ones there and it took a half hour for our meal. Outdoor ordering and outdoor seating only. 3 of us ordered the triple berry pancake which was huge (one pancake was a meal). My son got eggs, homemade biscuit and home fries. Biscuit was pretty good. Everything else was fine but nothing to run back for.

Put this on your list to eat breakfast here at SML. Dock up your boat and enjoy the huge pancakes and laid back atmosphere. Get there before 10am on Sat and Sun to beat the rush.

Ate here durning vacation about a month ago. Sometimes a two star review can drive business up. I agree with another reviewer that if you're in a hurry, chose another day. But if you come w the mindset that you'll have time to talk to the local neighbors and have an amazing meal, this is the spot. Amazing breakfast food (haven't tried lunch yet but hear the burgers are great) and incredibly reasonably priced. My athlete of a teenager was actually full for once for way less than $10. Can't wait to come back.
