I travel a lot throughout SWVA and this is a local spot that I recommend in Pennington Gap area. With all the multi-national corporate spots around, it's nice to have local spots like this to go to. Menu is small, but succinct. Great specials prices and fantastic burger; mine was medium rare, as requested. First time visitors in Pennington Gap. We stopped and ate at Rooster’s Pub for dinner. We both had the hamburger and seasoned fries and as an appetizer we selected the fried mushrooms. Everything was excellent! Hamburger was juicy, fries were cooked and seasoned just right. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend if you are ever in this area.
