Dobbins Hollow Winery and Cidery

We had a mini-family reunion with my wife's parents and my own. It was a great place to relax and sample Mark's offerings. The tasting yurt was inviting and cozy, the views were great, and Mark was a great host. Will definitely be back.

Mark was extremely knowledgeable and cordial explaining our tasting and sharing the histories of the fruits involved. Brodie, our Great Pyrenees, was royally treated.

Dobbin Hollows Winery is a true gem! Mark, the owner, is warm, knowledgeable, and has poured his heart into creating this special place. His passion for sustainable winemaking shines through—from the delicious, unique fruit wines (strawberries, plums, peaches, and more!) to the cozy, welcoming tasting yurt. The vibe is unmatched—relaxed, friendly, and full of great conversation. The property is stunning, with beautiful high-tech yurts and a peaceful farmhouse Airbnb, perfect for a mountain getaway. It’s also dog-friendly, which makes it even better—my pup is the happiest when we’re there! I’ve visited three times, just got engaged there over the weekend, and I’m already planning my next trip. Can’t recommend it enough!

I enjoyed my visit in the yurt with Mark. He was very knowledgeable and made my wines as sweet as I wanted! Could not ask for a better host. The wines and apple cider were delicious. I also got to bottle my own wine! I will be back to try the pear cider as he was sold out but looking forward to returning.

Mark is a flavor genius, growing a wide array of fruit (and veggies!), and concocting some of the most unique beverages you'll ever taste.

Play a round of disc golf, share some laughs in the tasting yurt, and take a tour of this beautiful vineyard, where you'll soon be on your way to becoming a viticulture guru, soaking in Mark's wealth of knowledge and passion for farming. If you have the chance to meet Diego during the growing season, he, too, is a wonderful person.

The bed is 10/10 for comfort, and the amenities are top-notch! They really have covered all the bases at Dobbins Hollow! Highly recommend!

Great first time visit to Dobbins Hollow yesterday! Mark was super nice and very knowledgable. His cocktails hit the spot on a hot, summer day! We'll definitely be back for another visit soon!

What a wonderful experience! It was such a home filled experienced. Mark was soo nice and had games for the kids to play and took them on a tour of the farm and let them pick and try vegetables. They even made homemade soda. The wine selection was really good, my favorite was his lemonchello. He had some yummy treats as well. We even got to cork our own bottles. 1000/10 recommend coming here. We will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed a beautiful day at Dobbins Hollow Winery with friends & Mark & Sammy the cat as our gracious hosts. Wine tastings are held in one of several yurts on the property. The bath house has a "green" paperless toilet that we all talked about on the way home. ?Mark's wines & cocktails are all made from the beautiful fruit trees on his property, including my favorite "Sex on the Beach!" The atmosphere in the tasting room was delightful as jazz music played in the background, the decor was "Floyd Countyish" which is a compliment, & Mark offered something tasty for all our varied tastes. He was one of us that day. Would love to come again & stay overnight in one of the B&B yurts & explore the grounds more.Mark has plans underway for further expansion after opening in May 2023. I hope more folks will stop by to meet & support Mark. Dobbins Hollow has lots to offer & more to come!

Found this hidden gem while winery hopping with friends on a beautiful fall Saturday. This was my first time doing a wine tasting in a yurt. It was an awesome experience.Mark was very welcoming and took the time to explain all of the wines and ciders, and everything taking place on the solar-powered farm.Most of the wines are fruit-forward and dry (my preference). My personal favorites were the Farmhouse Red, Peach, and hard pear cider. I’ll definitely be back.

Nice location, but the wine could use some work. Hope they can succeed so another winery could be in the area, but don't have any plans on returning based on the current wine selection.
