Wow, this establishment is deeply entrenched in the community, a staple of the community for 50+ years.
Great Vibe, atmosphere. Quick service, great food, excellent service. If you're going to pass it, stop, worth the visit even if you just buy a pack of gum, you'll probably stay and eat, possibly buy a milkshake.

I've passed this place HUNDREDS of times and didn't realize there was really a diner in here. Great American fare. I rate restaurants by the Reuben I can get there and this place was a winner. Burgers ordered by folks at my table were also voted as winners. Don't pass this one up. Give em a shot. Good food, good service!

Take a step back in time. I really enjoyed stopping in Horne’s on my recent business trip. We stopped in here 3 times! Super friendly staff in the dinner and helpful people at the checkout. I love the fact that they have an ice cream counter. So good. They also have some homemade baked goods that my friend really enjoyed!
Yes, yes, yes! Old school diner with some great country style eats! Very friendly staff and the food is great! I always stop by if I'm in the area!

On a trip to Westmoreland State Park we came across Horne's and planned to stop in on our way home. There was no wait and our food came out fairly quick. Their 'secret seasoning' on the wings was pretty good. When our meals came out one of the sides was wrong, but they quickly fixed. Lackluster malt shake was not delivered as advertised with whipped cream and cherry.
