Food was delicious atmosphere, outstanding service. Just a little slow. But our waitress was friendly and fun and we had a good time.

What a pleasant surprise! In the middle of nowhere we had one of the best meals we have had in a long time!

NOT the expected bland “pre-fab” bar food. Everything from the salad dressing, to the fresh mixed greens salad, the sides, the entree and - yes - even the hush puppies - exceeded our expectations. Fresh, homemade, delicious!
Great service, personable and friendly. HUGE portions.

Outstanding quality and quantity for the price.

Don’t make the mistake of overlooking the steak just because it is a “seafood” restaurant.
Only wish I would have had room for dessert!

Clean, open, bright. Pretty view of the water. Will be stopping again.

Food was wonderful!! However I found a worm in my fish! Brought it to the servers attention and she let the owner know he come over and tries to convince me otherwise. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I literally had to tell them I wasn’t paying for it take it off the bill. For this reason I won’t go back VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM OWNER HIMSELF!

Just wow. We tried the calamari, the alligator bites, the mussels with bread, the broiled shrimp and scallops, the Mac n cheese, the hush puppies and the twice baked potato. Thank you for being the FIRST restaurant in VA I have been to who didn't overwhelm the mussels with garlic.. they have their own flavor and they were delicious (and huge). Cooked just PERFECT and so CLEAN. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the calamari, a tad overdone but the breading was gorgeous and they had good flavor. The hush puppies were also a tad dry but good flavor. Scallops were perfect, shrimp.. perfect.. the bread um heck to DIE FOR. The wait staff was awesome (made my day) and the prices VERY reasonable for the portions we received (very large). We CANNOT wait to come back and try something else. Truly a hidden gem.

Came down the river and used their dock. They opened up the patio so we could have our dog by us. Excellent service and excellent food at very reasonable prices.

Drive pass this place many tlmes on our way to MD from Richmond and finally stopped in for dinner. Glad we did. Excellent food. Crab cakes are full of crab meat with little to no filler. Fried shrimp and scallops lightly breaded, hot and fresh. Wife had stuffed rockfish and it was cooked perfectly with a large portion of crabmeat stuffing. Wife and I both couldn't finish and left with take out boxes.

Terrible. Absolutely the worst restaurant experience of our lives-not exaggerating. Went for dinner yesterday around 6:00 and half the tables were dirty, only two waitresses who seemed totally overwhelmed. The “more mature” one seemed like possibly a new manager who knew close to nothing about the menu or anything else. The speakers weren’t working so the music came blasting in and out, and the one who seemed closest thing to a manager had no idea how to turn it down or off. The crabcakes were all soggy (two plates of it). The waitress didn’t know how the mixed drinks were made and never brought our order until laye on as we were walking out the door. The place was a hot mess. We did feel sorry for the waitresses. Randolph’s was recommended by the owners of our Airbnb and we feel compelled to tell them how bad their recommendation is.

Stopped in on a lovely fall day and enjoyed the back patio overlooking the river. Our food was tasty and plentiful, and our dog got the royal treatment too!

Must have been a bad day based on previous reviews I was so excited to try Randolph’s seafood. Fisherman’s platter and crab legs were very poor quality and not prepared well. Over cooked fishy tasting crab legs and seafood platter. The blue cheese dressing for the salad was sour. Just poor quality all around but the service was good and the view is pretty.

BEST seafood & service I have had in a long time.

Vallery was SO helpful, attentive & kind.
The food was off the chain and well worth the wait (due to high volume of customers) it is totally understandable!!

I will be back!
Thank you for the amazing views, food & memories.

Service was great! Our server was awesome. Food was delicious. Had the mussels, crabcake, fried oysters, and tuna melt. Sat outside on the deck overlooking the Rappahannock River. Very pretty view of the water and fall foliage. Highly recommend!
