Ordered curry pork katsu for lunch. Was very surprised by the big portion! The curry sauce was creamy and the katsu was very crunchy. The dish also came with miso soup!

A hidden gem, possibly the best sushi and Japanese food in the area. We will definitely be coming back to try other dishes!

Tonkatsu ramen, chicken bao buns, chicken katsu onigiri, and kimchi/spam onigiri are all amazing! Great flavors fast service. Even if I had to wait it would've been worth it. 10/10 highly recommend.

The service is super quick, and the food is well worth the prices. I love the fluffiness of their onigiri--it's a simple snack, but one that keeps me coming back! The food is flavorful and has a really fun presentation for dining in. Lovely plates and bowls and pretty cool chopsticks. 1.6 starsThe atmosphere for dine-in eating is nice too. It's in a Lotte supermarket as part of the "epiQ Food Hall". Somehow though, the space has a vibe entirely of its own, separate from the hustle and bustle of noisy shoppers. You can definitely have a comfortable meal dining in with your friends, or a nice one-on-one lunch with your partner. 1.6 stars. If I had to detract full points from a 5 star review, it would be on price. The prices are not bad for what you get, but they could stand to be a dollar or two cheaper on some of the larger meals. I think that would really round this place out as a 5 star spot for quick Japanese food that doesn't skimp on portions, but also brings a quality meal to the table.Overall, I'd say 4.8 stars.

This is an awesome place for super fresh well priced sushi. They make delicious specialty rolls and onigiri. We come here at least twice a month. Their platters are excellent and a great value. I recently made sushi at home for fun and I think it was as expensive as buying from Japomen—and they make it much better than I do!

Classic Japanese food, some things on the menu here I could really appreciate and rarely find this side of D.C. such as Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki and Onigiri. This particular first trip was specifically for Ramen and we tacked on some Onigiri and sushi when we saw them. The ramen was sadly only so-so, a little oily and salty (one was Miso and the other Shio and they were both overly salty)- not the thick rich taste I'm most accustomed to, the pork included was also thick seemingly non-marinated pieces that were a bit chewy and the eggs were simply hard boiled and also not marinated. Overall, it was an acceptable bowl of ramen, but nothing to write home about. The crispy eel onigiri I also ate, was in fact, very well done. Slightly sweet with a nice crispy seaweed and nice crunch to the eel, I would go back for this. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the soups here, but would recommend the sushi and onigiri. Plan to go back and try other things on their menu as well.
