I have been eating at Allen's for years...at least once a week and drive from Farmville to Powhatan to do so. It used to have the best food! The original owners retired and sold the restaurant. Apparently they did not keep the same cooks. The last two times I ate there the food was very bland. I used to like the spicy garlic sauce on my vegetables. There is absolutely no spice in this sauce. My husband just said....this food has no taste!!!! He's right....it doesn't! ...read full review
