The Reuben was good. They have exceptional bread here. The home made chips were also very good.

This is the cutest cafe that repurposed an old gas station. Service is always friendly - you feel like family - and decore is nice. There's seating inside and outside and parking on the side. Portions are large, and the food is delicious. My chef salad was huge!! I highly recommend stopping in for a good salad, sandwich, or bakery treat.
Parking: Parking lot off to the side.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible.

A bit behind the times. No vegan options and only two vegetarian options.
Best local sandwich I have had in a while!

Converted gas station now country cafe. The Cafe at Maidens has a lot of possibilities, especially if the interior would match the menu and its pricing. I walked in expecting a countrified burger joint and instead discovered an eclectic room of assorted tables cramped in a tight dining area and a pricey menu of sandwiches and salads (see their website). The two seemed contradictory. An updated decor is needed. I kept it simple w a chicken salad in a light crusted croissant w lettuce, tomato and highlighted w grape halves at $10. I'm happy to say, it was a very tasty and satisfying sandwich. Apparently, the local Saturday lunch crowd will overlook its appearance while paying top price for a good sandwich, a side and drink, and pleasant service.
