Had several fried Catfish lunches there and it's always perfect! Never dried out or underdone. Their sides are also very good. None of that bland 'chain restaurant' taste. Get a far better lunch for about the same money you would otherwise spend at a chain.
Y’all leave that fried catfish alone, I mean don’t order it ! That way it will be more for me, undoubtedly the best catfish I have eaten in a long while! The collards were delicious also! If you haven’t tried Mama Browns cooking you are missing something special!
Thanks, Kevin, our anniversary dinner was amazing today! Catfish is best I've ever had. Wings, tenders, bacon cheeseburger and all the sides were on point! Excellent service as always.

Though the peach cobbler isn’t always available, everything else is worth every dollar. Virginia is lucky to have this place—trust me, it’s the best soul food around.
