Had several fried Catfish lunches there and it's always perfect! Never dried out or underdone. Their sides are also very good. None of that bland 'chain restaurant' taste. Get a far better lunch for about the same money you would otherwise spend at a chain.

Y’all leave that fried catfish alone, I mean don’t order it ! That way it will be more for me, undoubtedly the best catfish I have eaten in a long while! The collards were delicious also! If you haven’t tried Mama Browns cooking you are missing something special!

It's actually connected to same building as the gas station so my GPS has me going in circles looking for a standalone business. Chicken is cooked fresh when you order that Mac was ok the slaw was a no. My mom got pork chops,baked beans and collards, she said everything was ok.

In my few times I've ordered here the Food is great! Sure the store is in an odd place that is alittle hard to find but in my personal opinion it's a hidden gem! God bless the people who work there and their kind service.
We ordered chicken tender meals. They were out of Cole Slaw and offered us peach cobbler instead. That was a nice substitution. The chicken had very little flavor and was Chewy. I found it hard to eat. The French fries were good, and the peach cooler was fine but not amazing. I would not eat here again.

I had the Catfish dinnerw / mac'n cheese & hush puppies. Catfish was tasty but a little saltier than I care for. Mac n cheese was ok. Hush puppies were good but didn’t know they were mixed with sweet corn…not really to my liking. But I will return again to try some other things for lunch or dinner ?

You have to first understand, this place is in a gas station with a big sign and small letters. It's easy to miss. But if you go inside. The staff is friendly and very ready to help with anything you might need. The food is always on point. And the prices are pre pandemic prices. Everyone talks to you and are very hospitable. Ita usually not crowded. Don't take it as a bad omin. They seem to do more carry out than sit down service. You can go eat for less than you'd eat at McDonald's, but get a world of flavor. I can not stress enough the value for money. Give it a try if you can. You won't be disappointed. They also have very interesting specials [ex. Frogs legs, ox tail, pigs feet]
