Our first visit today drove about an hour and a half just to check them out. Bartender greeted us immediately, a warm welcome from him. We sat in the farther room to enjoy a booth seat. The same bartender gave us menus and took my drink order. My husband is always the DD so he always has water. I ordered the smoked old fashioned and I am telling you right now, their whiskey hands down is the smoothest I have ever had. So what did we do? Bought a bottle. We also ordered the hush...
Really cool place with great service. The nachos were a hit with our group, but the real stars were the whiskeys. The Madison Reserve Bourbon was a really enjoyable sipper and the Noble Hound Dark Rye was spectacular. Highly recommended
Stopped by on a whim Sunday when in the area for a car show. Fantastic! Got the nachos w 3 dipping sauces, a lager, and wife got a cocktail. All were excellent and VERY tasty. Bartender was very nice and we snagged a bottle of their dark rye. We will drive back out to here just to visit this place. Powhatan is lucky to have this gem!
