Whiskey is okay. But, don’t have a lady doing tastings false advertising saying it’s woman owned when the pamphlets I received say husband & wife started it in 2009. Which one is it? I guess you guys want more perks throwing around Woman owned. Which I am a woman and it shouldn’t matter period.

Thanks for the response! Then you should change what your pamphlets you hand out say. Owned and started by husband and wife or stop with the woke and Women owned crap.

Amazing time! Friendly staff and very knowledgeable owners who want to spread this distillery’s purpose and share their knowledge on history. Will come again, very memorable

Fun, comfortable place to stop in for a tasting with their knowledgable staff -- try everything, even if you don't think you like whiskey or gin. Everything is very drinkable (especially the Honey Hot Whiskey) and we always end up bringing a few bottles home.

My wife and I are very grateful for the amazing experience we had at a "Dinner at the Distillery" event. It was absolutely fabulous! Incredible food and service, with 5 outstanding courses and fun/tasty cocktail pairings. The owning couple, chef, mixologist and staff were all incredible, too and went out of their way to make it a fun and memorable experience. Can't wait to do it again!

Scott and crew always hit a home run with the Catoctin Creek events, spirits, and atmosphere. The Creek is a special place that relishes its connection to Virginia and to its customers.

Went for the bottling workshop. It was great! Lots of hands on fun and also learned a little history!!! Came home with a bottle of whiskey that I filled, bottled, corked and labeled myself!!!

This was the first class that allowed one to take an empty bottle and proceed all through the steps to bottle a saleable product. It was very rewarding.

Came here for one of their private dinners that they do a few times a year and it was nothing short of incredible. Such a beautiful space and one of the best meals (if not the best) I’ve ever had.

Their whiskey and gin is the best in VA to boot. They also do a lot of events (like bottling workshops on the weekend) and they give free breakfast! The owners are so passionate and they do so much for the community.

Catoctin Creek's Rye spirits are a contemporary manifestation of America's first spirits and a delicious alternative to the infinite varieties of the same rye whiskeys everyone is making these days. Great place to have a tasting, great staff, and a great story behind it all. Highly recommended!
