We came in and there was a couple in the front room and a party of 4 in another room.. There was no acknowledgement, no ‘give me a few minutes I’m a little busy, no ‘welcome..sit anywhere’. We stood around and the employee just acted as those we didn’t exist. Finally I asked, ‘Do we just sit anywhere, or how does this work?’. He said, ‘yeah, just sit anywhere’. We sat in the library for 25 minutes without any help. I even got up a few times to grab a menu…look around at the teas for sale. The employee was making teas for the party of 4 then the couple decided they were done and wanted drinks to go. I heard the employee say it was going to be another 10 minutes before he could check them out. So we left. We were so excited to try this place and drove from Harpers Ferry but they just don’t seem to have enough help for the busiest day (according to their website), to handle more than a handful of people.

Shop is clean and well appointed, staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. And oh the teas - great variety and quality, loose or tea bags. I was visiting in the area, am looking forward to a return visit, but will be ordering from the website in the meantime.

Dominion Tea has great tea, amazing employees, and a usually quiet atmosphere. I love going there to try new teas and knit. I recommend getting a flight. The employees always seem to know exactly what teas you will love even if you don’t.

Had a friend in town from out-of-state. She loves tea, so I thought this would be a great place to take her. We had a lovely time enjoying our tea flights. The staff was very knowledgeable and explained each tea in detail (the apple pie tea was my favorite). After our flights, we each bought samples to take home. The only suggestion I have would be to add relaxing music, or maybe a water fountain. It was SO quiet that it felt awkward to speak at a normal volume. But even so, we had a great experience and I'll definitely be back!

Was upset to find out the shop was closed today and see that it was only available for appointment only. Their Facebook page says the store is open. It was only until I was standing in front of their door, seeing the sign saying appointment only that I saw that they changed the google hours 7 days ago. I drove roughly 40 minutes to this place wanting to support a loose leaf tea store locally but seeing as how I wasted over an hour and a half of my day and got no tea out of it I will not be coming back.

Was just stopping through Purcellville and I am so glad we came by Dominion Tea! They have so many different types of tea, all available for sniffing, drinking, and buying. We love tea, and this is the best tea shop we have been to in a long time. Planning on making the drive out again soon!

Perfect tea shop. The staff member was super passionate and knowledgeable, gave me space to smell the tea and decide what I want, and the tea itself was delicious. They have a large variety of tea and the store was peaceful and a lovely place to read. It was perfect.

It's one of the best teas I ever had in my life. Definitely try them out... the cold teas are excellent. I was not able to do the tasting this time, but I will be coming back for it for sure.

We had two tasting flights & they give you so much tea in each cup. Excellent service & the staff are very knowledgeable about every aspect of each tea. Super cute place & the pics don’t do it justice. Love that each bag of tea has customized instructions for how much, what temperature & how long to steep it for. Also really appreciate that you can buy sample amounts of each tea and get more than one cup’s worth per sample. This place is my new obsession & I plan to try every type of tea they sell.
