The best, moist brisket in NoVA hands down. Do yourself a favor and wash it down with ice cream at the shop upstairs. You'll thank me later.
Burnt ends are awesome!

I saw a mouse or a rat in the dining area and couldn’t believe it and when I brought it up they said that was normal bc they are in a rural area. Their turkey and chicken is also the driest you’ll ever eat. Just don’t order anything with turkey or chicken. Do NOT order their turkey for Thanksgiving bc you will regret it. You were warned.

We just visited this location just try some bbq on the way to mackintosh farm. It looks a very good location to have some bbq food. From outside itself we could feel the typical bbq making process. Wen inside ordered some brisket, burnt end, racks and we chose to sit the outside dining place. In 15 minutes or so the food arrived, it’s hot juicy and tasty.
We took some time to really enjoy every bite of the order. Had a kid along with us.
The service was really excellent, in between they came out and checked with us, any thing to be done?. It’s a great place for bbq lovers.

Monk's BBQ is about 45 minutes or so outside DC in Purcellville, VA. I can not begin to tell you how worth the drive it is to visit Monk's. First off, you're not finding BBQ done right in the DC city limits. Nobody in DC can match Monk's space, number of true smokers, and fire needed to impart Monk's level flavor. Which this place has tenfold. The staff was unbelievable from start to finish. They have a good outdoor space to eat, and the menu has everything you would want at BBQ joint. The burnt ends were lights out along with the Alabama chicken. The beans, potatoes, and cornbread were done really well, as were all the sauces they offer. Did I mention they have a full bar?! I will definitely be going back regularly on the weekends, and this place is worth taking a day off of work for.

Went to lunch here on a Sunday. We ordered the ribs, pulled chicken, cornbread, mac and cheese and the potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to go back and even got some bbq and the raspberry chipotle sauce to go!

Used to be a great. We would travel 40 minutes for lunch. Went today and spent $17 on a brisket entree that included one side and one slice of brisket, cut in half. Used to be two sides and cornbread. Disappointed and will not be back.

We tried some items from Monk’s at an event they catered at Boulder Crest, but I wanted to try other items on their menu, so I came in with my family and ordered the piglet tray and many other items. The ribs were absolutely the best ribs we’ve ever had! Just wow! We all agreed. Pastrami was also amazing and so was the chicken and brisket. As our sides we ordered Mac & cheese, custard filled corn bread, smashed potatoes, and beans. All of those were great. I especially loved smashed potatoes, so simple and tasty with butter! I saw some people complaining in reviews about it being called smashed potatoes, which is not what I expected either, but I really liked them and they went so well with bbq items. I also really liked their coleslaw, very tasty and unexpectedly fresh. The food was so good, we wish we didn’t live nine hours away from Monk’s BBQ! Can’t wait to return!

We used to love coming here. We would drive 35 minutes every couple months just for lunch. Today we did that and were disappointed to find that their entrees now include only one side and no cornbread. For $17, we received one slice of brisket (cut in half) and one side. Do better, Monk's.
We recently had Monk's BBQ cater our wedding and we can say without hesitation that they were fantasitc. The food was delicious, everything was hot and fresh and was exactly what we had envisioned. The staff from Monk's was friendly and well-coordinated and we could not have asked for a better experience. They even took the time to put together a little plate of appetizers for us to enjoy after we finished pictures, not something we asked for, just a nice touch that showed they cared.
Delicious BBQ and a well-stocked bar. The menu is nice, the service is fast, and the drinks are yummy. This place gets busy, but there seems to be plenty of seating indoors and out. A bit expensive, but I highly recommend it!
