I spent over $200.00 on a carry out order. I asked for a large container instead of the small containers to put BBQ sauce in. I was told I could buy a bottle of BBQ sauce for $9.00. And they got my order wrong. I won't be eating Monk's BBQ again.

We've been looking for some good BBQ in the Prince William/Fauquier/Loudoun area for a few years now. When Red Hot and Blue closed in Manassas and Warrenton, we looked around for a new great BBQ place. I just read a Northern Virginia Magazine review of Monk's BBQ in Purcellville. Then our hairdresser in Aldie today confirmed our decision to have lunch there today.

This place is highly rated so we were excited to try it out. When we arrived, we noticed the full parking lot so obviously this is a well liked restaurant.

After we placed our order, we noticed the wide selection of 5 different bbq sauces. Unfortunately for me, they must have run out of burnt ends before we got there, so instead I got the pulled pork sandwich. By itself, I didn't find that the pork itself stood out.
