Great atmosphere and very enjoyable staff, delicious wines too!
We had a nice visit to Sunset Hills Vineyard. The setting is beautiful, the inside area is spacious with plenty of seating that isn’t cramped in the slightest, they’re open nice and late, and they offer a decent selection of wines. That said, everything on the menu leaned dry, so if you’re someone who enjoys sweeter options, that may be a slight drawback.
One thing worth noting is that while the vineyard is family-friendly and allows children, the bathrooms are quite small and there was no changing table available. I ended up having to change my son on the floor outside the bathroom due to the lack of space inside. Of course, it’s never a business’s responsibility to cater to families, but it’s always a thoughtful touch when accommodations like that are available. I didn’t take a star off for it, but it was something that stood out.
Overall, a pleasant experience with good wine and a lovely atmosphere—just a few things to be aware of depending on your preferences and needs.
Excellent wines, amazing food (especially the bread and the bakes brie). Great service.
Great place to relax and enjoy music on the lawn, great wines and food for purchase in late spring, summer and early fall. In winter they have music and wine tastings and food inside Friday afternoon and Saturday. Sunday is nice quiet time inside the main building.
Beautiful establishment inside. It was a freezing day so we couldn’t appreciate the outdoor space but it looked lovely. Our wine choice was delicious, as was the charcuterie board we chose. One thing to note is that the winery is not set up for children in any way so be aware. Obviously not the atmosphere the winery is going for, which is fine.
Wine is not perfect but the people, atmosphere and music are on point!
Staff at this winery are amazing. They make sure that you are well accommodated including if you have a wheelchair. Wine is always good. Would recommend.
Wonderful staff! Enjoyed their sharing of not only their wine knowledge, but also other area wines. We will be back!
Had a fabulous time here today! Excellent wine selection and the staff was amazing! Elizabeth was so sweet and the gentleman bartender whom is a high school history teacher (didn’t get his name) was great as well! We found our new favorite winery! Stunning views!!! Absolutely breathtaking!
Great scenic view. Great choice of white wines. Will definitely try the reds next time.

As we wound our way through the mountains on another weekend adventure, Sunset Hills was a planned stop—and for good reason. We’d been told not to pass it by, and after visiting, we completely understand why. The stunning architecture, built by Amish craftsmen, sets a warm and inviting tone the moment you step inside.
Jeff was fantastic—not only sharing thoughtful details about each wine but also taking the time to understand both of our preferences (one dry, one sweet). He made us feel right at home with recommendations tailored to each of us.
Beyond the wine, the menu and atmosphere invite you to linger—sip, share stories, and truly soak in the spirit of a weekend getaway. We can’t wait to come back and discover what other delicious wines they’re pouring next. Each one, we’re sure, will be worth every drop.
Beautiful facilities, great view, nice pavilion and outdoor area. If you decide to bring little ones, there's plenty of grass to throw out a blanket. In addition to their wines, they have a nice selection of charcuterie to enjoy. Great place to spend a couple of hours relaxing.
We rolled in with 8 energetic ladies and Sunset Hills was so welcoming! Bill and Ben were both fantastic hosts, so helpful and friendly we really appreciated them. The tasting room had excellent live music, the cheese board was amazing, the views were lovely, and they are dog friendly. Their wines are very good, they had something that everyone really enjoyed. I suggest starting with the brut rose, a real crowd pleaser! Add this stop to your list every time!!!
Sunset Hills is a new favorite! We were looking for a place with a cozy interior since it was cold and windy out, and this spot was perfect! That said, I hope we can come back and enjoy the beautiful and plentiful outdoor space once it's warmer.
We were able to just walk in and do a wine tasting with ease. The place has a nice cozy ambiance with some live music and several seating areas. The ladies working the bar were very nice and accommodating despite being fairly busy.
The tasting was great and we had several favorites, including the 2020 sunset white and the 2021 Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon. The ciabatta bread and asiago cheese spread was delicious as well. Can't wait to come back soon!
We love coming here so much we became club members. Live music with some very impressive performers. Maryann is gracious and always welcomes us with a big smile.
