I've been here a couple of times recently. A good, basic cup of coffee and a London Fog were both good. Quiet and comfortable setting.The pastries (Blueberry turnover and creme puff) were a bit disappointing. The texture of the Pastry told us they are kept in the refrigerated cooler too long. No crispy flakiness in the dough, just cold, dense, and a bit chewy. I won't go for another Pastry. Might try a cheesecake slice some time.In the past, I've ordered a couple different large cookies that were very good.

Sweet Rose did it again! Second year in a row I’ve worked with them for my daughter’s birthday cake and they nailed it. Not only do they always do an amazing job, the cakes are delicious! We stop in frequently for their pastries and have never been disappointed. Thank you for helping make my 7yr olds birthday special!!!!

The cake I ordered for my sister's 40th birthday was absolutely amazing. I gave them a picture idea of a very simple cake and Tanya took it and turned it into a beautiful and delicious masterpiece! She also took the extra step to have it delivered to our party venue and it was such a smooth experience. We will for sure be ordering from Sweet Rose again!

I went in person to order a specialty cake (GF & vegan), with 2 weeks notice. I was told it shouldn't be a problem. Then 3 days later, I got an email saying they were no longer taking cake orders! So I had to really scramble to find someone else who could do this specialty cake on short notice. Thank goodness for Chantel's Bakery in Sterling, they saved me! Sweet Rose, if you're not taking cake orders 1.) TELL YOUR STAFF, 2.) PUT IT ON YOUR WEBSITE, & 3.) DON'T TAKE 3 DAYS TO RESPOND!
