What a wonderful surprise! My husband and I love carribean food, and we had no idea this gem existed. The oxtail and curry chicken were delicious and plentiful. We will be going back soon.
Tried this place for the first time today and thought it was far better than the reviews gave credit. Split a bunch of food among 3 people and in order of favorites here is what we had: Plantains, jerk chicken wings, potato salad, curry chicken, coco bread, steamed veggies, beef patties, and rice & peas. What a pleasant surprise!!! I had to go over to Quantico & my wife said grab something on the way home. So I chose The Family Eatery, only because I parked beside the restaurant. I ordered Curry Chicken & Ox Tail. Mmmm, I will have to say this place is my new favorite Carribean restaurant in Prince William Co.. The staff was SUPER friendly & most of all the food was plentiful & DELICIOUS. Unfortunately it's off the beaten path, but do recommend.
