I really wanted to like Crazy Crab because everyone was really nice. The owner, the hostess, the waitstaff were all really friendly. We were expecting a long wait for really amazing local seafood. We got the long wait. But the meal was disappointing. It took about 30-40min to get seated. No issue with that. It's busy and it's popular. Went there on Friday, 07/12/2024. I had the Captain's Crab Cake Platter - came with two good-sized (fried) crab cakes and two sides (I got the fries & cole slaw). The crab cakes were wonderful; delicate and flavorful. They were so good in fact that I did not even use the tartar or cocktail sauces that came with them. I just enjoyed the crab cake as it came. Awesome place to stop by and dock your boat if you are cruising the bay or just out for the day. There is an option to stay for the night and hook up to electricity for a very cheap price per foot. The Seafood is always fresh and delicious!
