I've had the pleasure of working with Moo Thru several times now, most recently for a wedding at Renback Barn on 11/1. Well-run ice cream stop right off main stretch of US-29. I had the Holstein flavor, which is vanilla chocolate chip. Very tasty, but didn't seem too sugary. The staff is very thorough, there are plenty of picnic tables and parking. Good clean bathrooms, and like the name implies, you can just drive through for your ice cream.

The only issue I noticed was that the pick up area was very disorganized. People were trying to take orders that did not belong to them because of the confusion. Other than that it was good. Tastes great and relatively quick.

First off the ice cream is great. Smooth and creamy the way ice cream should be. A great family spot for sure. Definitely recommend stopping by and trying some. As for a complaint I found hair in my ice cream a few times. We dont go very often, maybe once every five months, so seeing it a few times is a little annoying. Im not sure why hair nets aren't a thing, been used in the food industry for a while. Otherwise great spot for ice cream, and understand accidents happen and could just be unlucky.

Disappointed in the last two visits to Moo Thru. About a month ago we got 2 soft serve twist cones and the chocolate was gritty like it had not been mixed properly. This last Friday night, we wanted to give it another try. We were there at 8:37pm and we ordered 2 soft serve twists again. They said we couldn’t order soft serve because they were cleaning the machine. So we each ordered 1 scoop of hand-dipped ice cream in a cake cone. Please see the picture. I received 1/2 of a scoop of ice cream that was leveled off at the top of the cone. The two 1scoop cones totaled over $10. No ice cream was inside the cone at all as you can see in the picture. I have enjoyed my experiences there in the past and have shared my positive experiences with friends and family. The last two experiences, it has not been what I am used to. I hope this is just a temporary situation, as I would like to return to support the local business.
