Applebee's Grill + Bar

Ordered a steak with a small side salad. Husband ordered chicken fettuccine. Had to tell the waitress to bring my salad, she was just going to bring it with the steak. Half way thru dinner I told her I would like to have a chicken quesidea to go. 20 minutes later she brings the check. I had a #10 off coupon and 2 $10 gift cards plus the cash for the difference. While she was gone I'm looking at the check. No quesidea on there. She comes back with one of my gift cards and says we can only use 1 gift card at a time...What?? That is ridiculous, and then I asked her why the quesidea wasn't on the check. She says she never put the order in, and asks if I still want it! No, we are ready to leave now! Just dont...this is the 2nd time we have had problems with this Applebee's. The one in Bonsack is the same distance from our house, never had any issues there. We won't be back to the one in Rocky Mount again. Management there is bad and they just can't get anything right.

we went to applebees on new years eve in rocky mount va. and it was fantastic.stepanie took care of our every need and was so kind and sweet and was the kind of manager you would love to meet.also taylor was very gracious and kind in waiting on us. will definetly visit more often in the future.

On Friday December 19th, 2025 Marjorie, Teresa, and I were at Applebee's. The food was great. Our server Savannah was excellent and extremely helpful and wonderful to us. We highly recommend that anyone that goes to Applebee's and be sure to choose Savannah as your server

Came in for Sunday lunch with my husband. The lady bartender who was also our waitress was very rude. Our wings were hard and food was not very good. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Tonight I ate at Applebee’s in Rocky Mount, Virginia with some coworkers. I had an absolutely amazing waitress named Savannah. She was 100% attentive to our needs checking on our drinks and our food making sure that we had the best service possible. However, the manager Mikey was rather rude all that aside everything was perfect. The food that we ordered especially the quesadillas were absolutely perfect. I could not be happier with the service that we received from our waitress Savannah. She is an absolutely amazing con spirited very positive person and should be praised for it.

This was probably the worst Applebees experience i’ve ever had. The food was terrible, the waitress was stale & hardly waited on us. She took our order, brought our order out & then didn’t come back to bring refills or anything. Didn’t give us any straws. We had to ask her for everything we needed. We waved her down for refills after she’d walked past our table 4-5 times & then when we were done & had our plates stacked on the table she came & asked us how we’re doing… The food was so bland. My grandma & I got the 4 cheese Mac & cheese with the honey pepper chicken tenders on top & the “Mac & cheese” was just watery penne pasta with Alfredo sauce & mine came with a breadstick & my grandmas didn’t & the waitress said she would bring one but never even came back to our table after that. Just do better if you’re going to be a waitress.

Food was great! Mandi is an amazing server! So nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend and dine again.

Bathrooms are so clean & smell amazing

It's was very nice and the waitress was on time and on top of it and the food was good.

Our food on this last trip wasn't excellent or even warm. But I still love this Applebee's!
